Parents. If you constantly run to gripe every time your player gets pulled, Sat or moved to a different position, you're doing a massive disservice to them. You can't go to their employer when they get passed up for a promotion. Let them be coached. You'll be OKAY!
Parents. Your player batting 9th and or playing right field isn't a death sentence on their career or playing abilities. They'll be OKAY and you will be too.

Parents,
It's obvious to coaches when you're managing your kid's social media account. And it's a bad look.
Monitor is cool. Manage is not cool.

Blessed to compete with the best at the #WWBAWorlds. Big thank you to @PG_Scouting for the write-up, and a huge thank you to the @TheCanesBB family for welcoming me in! 🤝💪 @PG_Uncommitted @Texas_PG
Chase Stevens (‘28 TX) catches just enough of this ball sending it over the wall in center for a 💣 to lead off the inning; generates some backspin on impact. @PG_Uncommitted #WWBAWorlds @Texas_PG

Jeter to Murphy...
“The Brewers play baseball the right way” ….
- Pat Murphy replies … “Guys today don’t understand that!”
We have gotten so far away from center as to what winning baseball is and looks like… the younger generation’s focus is on launch angle, spin rates, velocity and you only win by out slugging the opponent! Basically…. Hit more HR than the other team…. Then pimp the HR.
Well eyes have been opened. They have to be. It’s now a matter of … if pride will keep the other orgs from following. If they do… our game will skyrocket like never before.
It was literally the most beautiful baseball I have seen at the MLB level … electric!

Effort is the highest form of respect. Not just for yourself or your coaches, but for the game & every player who built that standard before you. Respect the game. Show up. Compete. Empty the tank. One day the noise all fades & your effort is all that remains. That’s your legacy!
Tough conversation with a very talented player. The music in a post was very derogatory. Don't let that be the reason someone skips over you.
113 Days until Spring Training.
"People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
-Rogers Hornsby
Pierce is getting a great young man who can play the game at a high level. He does it the right way. Keep working hard!
I’m excited to announce that I have committed to continue my academic and baseball career at Pierce College!
