Indeed job postings:
1/ Software development postings are rocketing upward: Y/Y growth of almost 25%. At that pace we're about a year away from pre-COVID levels (we're recovering from a deep depression in this category).
congrats to @solomonstre, my @marcosnils ad team

messaging my wife a link containing proof of her husband cheating on her from an anonymous instagram account and then when she clicks on it texting her to let her know she failed the family phishing test and she has to retake my cybersecurity course

My strongest “vibes not evidence” belief is that remote work is a cancer that’s making (most) people miserable even though it seems better in the short term.

One thing that nobody really prepares you for in becoming a parent of multiple young children is that there are some days when you have a 2 minute story you want to tell your spouse, but you can never quite get past the 30-45 second mark
With revenue numbers at Anthropic, hope employees have the patience to weather a storm. RSU liquidity can be a huge challenge.
I was at Robinhood right before IPO. RSUs opened at $38. Employees had a 6mo lockup. Stock dipped below $11 eroding most of the value.
Took a whole lot of patience and tbh beast company execution to see that money when the stock rose again many years later. @vladtenev crushed it so hard that they even gave employees refreshers to preserve morale during the downturn.

Replying to @Conanbatt @kentcdodds
It's a relief to hear even the great @kentcdodds has had existential crisises this year because from the outside it looks like he has just surfed the AI wave beautifully. And it's a very good point about they way people use agents has changes so often. What a weird and fascinating time we are living through in software.

We’re pleased to announce @Meow has accepted a $31.6M Series B led by @Stifel with participation from @archetypevc. That brings our total funding to over $60M.
This is a strategic investment and a partnership. Stifel will offer a white-label version of Meow’s platform to its commercial banking clients, starting with venture and fund banking.
Game on.
Fintechs are becoming banks. They’re going after charters and showing up with better technology than the banks they compete against.
Banks can spend years trying to build that technology, or they can run on a platform that already wins.
Meow proves it. We compete for startups, the most competitive and demanding banking market in the world, and we go head to head on product. We have billions of assets on the platform, billions in annualized payment volume, and millions in annualized profits at scale and in the market every day.
Most software sold to banks has never had to win a customer on its own. Ours competes for the most demanding customers every day. It’s proven. That’s why Stifel entrusted Meow with this deal and opportunity.
Now, we’re launching the ability for banks to have the entire Meow platform under their own brand:
→ onboardings
→ bill pay
→ expense management
→ invoicing
→ agentic compliance and backoffice
→ stablecoins
→ everything else
And it never falls behind. Every feature our customers push us to build ships to our bank customers too.
We anticipate Stifel’s venture and fund banking clients get all of it starting early 2027.
Meow will allow every bank to be able to compete with the industry leading fintechs. This will change the game for banks and is only the beginning. Now, back to work.

There's been a relative explosion of FDE adjacent jobs over the past year
~1,000% vs ~0% growth for the general tech sector and it's continuing to ramp up
Incredible time for anyone with technical + people skills to level up and / or join high growth startups!

It's crazy that there's a tool out there that's become vital to they way I do my job, parent my kids, and make major life decisions; and yet we barely spend more on it than AI

let's go!
honored that @tastelabs made @TechCrunch’s Disruptors 60 list
when we started, lots of people asked if this problem was even solvable. could something subjective be measured? improved?
turns out it can! there’s still so much work (& research) ahead to make AI feel right. thank you to our customers for trusting us to be a part of making frontier models better at design.
and the better these models get, the more agent layer will explode. those agents need the right tools, and we’re building them too.
we want AI to be a tool for human creativity, not slop. if you’re as passionate about this as we are, join us! we’re hiring (a lot)!
thank you @GreenfieldVC + TC!

Holy cow, so based on OpenAI's UK filings, average salary in 2025 was £794k and £1.52m share based compensation on top of that.
So the total was £2.35m = $3.1m per employee

i joined exa at 0 million
today we crossed 100 million
next stop is 1 billion
Exa just passed $100m in annualized revenue.
We've grown almost exactly 10x per year for 3 years. We now handle 2 billion requests a month from 200k+ teams. And it’s still so early:
We predict agents will search 1000x more than humans by 2030.
Agents don't search like humans. They write long, complex queries and want all the world's data, not just the web. We've spent 5 years building a search engine designed for them.
We now serve personal agents, AI labs, coding agents, GTM agents, really any agent. Exa gives these agents access to 100s of billions of web documents and tons of proprietary data.
Our customers are increasingly noticing that information is the bottleneck to agent performance. While the world seems close to perfect intelligence with models like Fable and Astra, we are very far from perfect information.
To our small but legendary team, thank you for getting us here, from engineering to research to GTM to ops.
To our customers, it is an honor to serve you. We have some exciting releases coming soon and can't wait to share them 🫡
