Przecież to jest skandal. Szefowa Komisji Europejskiej zachowująca się w taki sposób? Być może von der Leyen uważa, że w taki sposób „karci” prezydenta Polski. A tak naprawdę tylko sama się skompromitowała - i ujawniła swoje intencje.

I’m Polish and American. I love my roots, I value freedom, and I believe people should be able to be proud of who they are and where they come from.
I don’t want to see the world tearing itself apart while the people at the top get richer and more powerful.

🇵🇱 | What’s happening in Poland is deeply disturbing. I suspect the fight to replace Constitutional Tribunal judges is really about something else: Poland’s gold reserves and Brussels’ interest in them.
The Tribunal first. The National Bank of Poland next. Then the gold.
Keeping this government in power may not even be the main objective. Creating a precedent that opens the door to the reserves could be far more valuable.
Watch what happens over the coming weeks and months. Polish people, stay strong.

Basically, Poland’s political institutions are fighting over who has the legal authority to control the country’s Constitutional Tribunal.
Tusk is closely aligned with Brussels, and many Poles believe his government puts the EU's agenda ahead of Poland's national interests.
