It later hosted an event with a title that should stop every Texan cold: “FROM MARXISM TO ISLAM: THE REVOLUTIONARY ROAD TO ALLAH.” Speakers argued that Islam and Western civilization cannot coexist. Read that again. CANNOT COEXIST. Yet this institution was simultaneously being used as an official place where Texans select the people who exercise government power.
