Billings, Mont. (Oct. 26) — Teachers held a protest outside Billings Senior High School after the Yellowstone County Attorney’s Office declined to bring felony charges against a suspected trans 18-year-old male student who attacked a teacher with a knife. The investigation lasted nine months and has led to no accountability, making locals wonder if there is a coverup because a suspected trans person was the assailant. The student has not been officially named.

In Shocking (or Not) Development, California Asks Voters to Make Temporary Tax Increase Permanent California’s Proposition 3 on the November 3 ballot would lock in higher income tax rates on the state’s top earners that voters were told were temporary. In 2012, Prop 30 raised rates on high incomes (roughly the top 2%) as a short-term fix for the Great Recession budget crisis. Voters extended them in 2016 via Prop 55, set to expire after 2030. Prop 3 would make those rates permanent: 10.3%–12.3% on income above about $371,000 (single) or $743,000 (joint). Combined with the existing 1% mental health surcharge over $1 million, the top rate stays at 13.3%, the highest in the nation. If it fails, those brackets drop back to 9.3%. The Legislative Analyst’s Office says this keeps $5–15 billion a year flowing in, mostly for K-12 schools and community colleges. Supporters (led by the California Teachers Association) frame it as simply preserving existing funding without raising current rates. Critics note the pattern: temporary emergency taxes become permanent once government builds spending around them. California already has the nation’s highest income tax rates, yet faces persistent budget pressure and high costs of living. High earners (who pay a large share of state income taxes) have been leaving for lower-tax states, and locking in these rates risks accelerating that. The original “temporary” promise has now stretched over a decade with no end in sight. California voters will decide whether “temporary” means temporary. California's 'Money-Saving' Tire Ban Just Got Worse, Including Threatening Reporters California’s latest “money-saving” mandate just banned most of the tires you actually buy, and then the bureaucrats tried to lean on the reporter who said so. The California Energy Commission unanimously approved new replacement tire efficiency standards this week. Starting in 2029 (with stricter rules in 2033), tires sold in the state for passenger cars and light trucks must meet low rolling-resistance targets. The official line: drivers will save nearly $1 billion a year in fuel and electricity costs, emissions will drop the equivalent of 400,000 cars, and the extra cost is only $1.50–$6.50 per tire. Here’s the part they soft-pedal: industry estimates say this could wipe out roughly 70% of the tires currently on the market. The cheap, durable options working families actually buy get phased out. Goodyear and others warn the real price jump will be far higher than the state’s rosy math. Upfront costs hit immediately. Projected gas savings arrive later, if at all, and only if you keep the same driving habits and the tires last as claimed. California already has the highest gas prices in the country and some of the most expensive everything else. Now unelected commissioners are deciding which tires you’re allowed to put on your car in the name of “affordability.” And when a KCRA reporter accurately reported the 70% figure and the industry pushback, a CEC spokesperson emailed her urging a “different tone.” Not disputing the number. Just asking her to soft-pedal the coverage. This is the pattern: sell heavy regulation as a gift to consumers, downplay the costs and lost choice, then pressure anyone who points out the trade-offs. Californians keep getting told these rules will save them money. Somehow their wallets never notice.

Please pray for Christians in Nigeria. This Christian girl was captured and had to choose between converting to Islam or death. She chose death. May all Christians have this kind of courage. This is what Islam wants to bring to the world. Convert or die.

🚨 BREAKING: At least 11 PEOPLE have been SH0T near Florida A&M's football game in Tallahassee during homecoming ronight Unsurprisingly, it was some ghetto animal that opened fire. SIX of the victims are kids, the youngest just 11 YEARS OLD, per police. At least 3 are seriously hurt, 1 critically. One victim is a FAMU student. Police believe there was ONE shooter, in an isolated incident between 2 or 3 people. No arrests have been made, so the shooter is still at large. It happened just before 8 PM near Perry and Manatee streets, by Bragg Stadium, per Tallahassee police. Praying for every one of these victims -- especially the kids 🙏🏻

Good thing X put this on the News section because I wouldn't have known about this otherwise. Nevertheless, more people need to keep spreading word of this. May God have Mercy on them.

Blessed Feast of the Kingship of Our Lord Jesus Christ! The feast proclaims Christ as King over all nations and peoples. It was established by Pope Pius XI in the Jubilee Year of 1925, after the upheavals resulting from the First World War and in response to the rise of atheism and secularisation. In his encyclical, Pope Pius XI writes: "These manifold evils in the world were due to the fact that the majority of men had thrust Jesus Christ and his holy law out of their lives; that these had no place either in private affairs or in politics: and we said further, that as long as individuals and states refused to submit to the rule of our Savior, there would be no really hopeful prospect of a lasting peace among nations. Men must look for the peace of Christ in the Kingdom of Christ." --- Omnípotens sempitérne Deus, qui in dilécto Fílio tuo, universórum Rege, ómnia instauráre voluísti: concéde propítius; ut cunctæ famíliæ géntium, peccáti vúlnere disgregátæ, eius suavissímo subdántur império. Almighty and everlasting God, Who didst will to restore all things in Thy beloved Son, the King of all creation: mercifully grant; that all the families of nations, scattered by the wound of sin, may become subject to His most gentle rule. Christe Rex, miserére nobis!

May he rest in peace. Please, pray for his souls and for those who have mourned his passing.
Incroyable, juste au moment où le prêtre prononce cette phrase « Un jour, nous tous qui sommes ici mourrons aussi » il est frappé et décède.

Students in El Cajon, California WALKED OUT of class in the middle of the day to protest ICE and were chanting “FCK ICE” — Only 10.8% of students at El Cajon Valley High can do math at grade level — Only 28% can read at grade level — 29% of the city is foreign-born, and 45% speak a language other than English at home. These kids are being taught activism instead of Algebra.

When it comes to people of other religions or sects, the news media eats it all up. When it comes to Christians in general, the news media sleeps and doesn't bat an eye.
More Christians have been murdered by Islamists this year alone than Palestinians during three years of war. Dozens more Christians, including children, are currently being held hostage. Where is the outrage?
