The existence of Al-Qaeda bases, safe havens, and training camps across Afghanistan is an undeniable reality. Those who deny this obvious truth serve no purpose other than whitewashing terrorism and collaborating with this criminal network.

FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN TO BIN LADEN'S SUDAN: WHAT THE DOCUMENTS REVEAL
Steven Emerson and the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) @TheIPT have uncovered another significant piece of the University of Michigan Muslim Students' Association's history, raising questions about the organization's connections to influential Islamist figures.
In September 2005, the MSA newsletter Al-Risalah published an account by political chair Shimaa Abdel-Fadeel describing her visit to Sudan, including a dinner with Hassan al-Turabi.
Who was Hassan al-Turabi, and why does this matter?
Al-Turabi was a leading figure in Sudan's Islamist movement, a former secretary-general of Sudan's Muslim Brotherhood, and the leader of the National Islamic Front. He also played a central role in providing Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda with a sanctuary in Sudan.
The 9/11 Commission Report documents that al-Turabi encouraged bin Laden to relocate his organization to Sudan, allowing the country to become a base for worldwide business operations and preparations for jihad.
But the historical record goes further.
A 1992 U.S. diplomatic cable documents al-Turabi urging Muslims to establish an "Islamic system" in their countries while rejecting what he described as Western attempts to impose a new world order.
A 1994 U.S. diplomatic cable reports al-Turabi telling students that establishing an Islamic state required jihad. He described the Western coalition as a principal adversary and asserted that jihad frightened the West because of the weakness of Western civilization.
Now consider what Emerson's investigation uncovered.
Abdel-Fadeel subsequently served on the University of Michigan MSA board alongside vice president Abdul El-Sayed. Her published account described meeting the same Islamist leader who helped provide bin Laden and al-Qaeda with the sanctuary from which they expanded their terrorist operations.
This is a normalization of al-Qaeda that was never pushed back on in real-time, and it raises serious questions about how the MSA leadership viewed al-Turabi and his role in facilitating al-Qaeda's presence in Sudan.
This Sunday, November 1st, I'll have @John_Rossomando on @The_Watch_Floor to further discuss the Muslim Brotherhood in America, its organizational networks, historical connections, and the national security implications.
Understanding these networks requires following the evidence, examining the documents, and asking difficult questions about the relationships they reveal.

PART 5 | THE COMPANY HE KEEPS
Emerson examines El-Sayed's relationships with political allies, activists, community organizers, and public figures.
The reporting covers a 2021 Palestine rally, connections to the Michigan Muslim Youth Council, and more recent political events.
It raises questions about the significance of these associations while documenting the activities and statements of the individuals involved.

EXPOSING THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD'S NETWORK: WHAT MICHIGAN VOTERS NEED TO KNOW
I want to thank Steven Emerson and the Investigative Project on Terrorism @TheIPT for the extensive work behind this six-part investigation:
El-Sayed in the Brotherhood's Orbit
The investigation examines Abdul El-Sayed's longstanding associations with organizations linked to the Muslim Brotherhood's network in the U.S. Drawing on declassified FBI records, internal Brotherhood documents, archived communications, and hundreds of hours of recordings, Emerson presents evidence that deserves serious public scrutiny.
I'm particularly flagging this investigation for my friends in Michigan, but its implications go well beyond one state or one political candidate. We cannot afford to bury our heads in the sand when it comes to the Muslim Brotherhood's history, networks, and efforts to gain influence in American institutions. These are legitimate national security concerns, and political convenience should never take precedence over examining the evidence.
The American people deserve to know who is seeking positions of power, what organizations they have been involved with, and what those relationships mean. I'll share all six installments below so you can examine the investigation for yourself.

🚨🚨 THE DEMOCRACY FILES / ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK, PART 11: NOT-SO-INDEPENDENT SENATE CAMPAIGNS OF DAN OSBORN (NE) AND BRIAN BENGS (SD) 🚨
Two Senate candidates running as independents have ties to Renew American Democracy, the project ran by ex-USAID workers to restructure American governance. And one of them admits on video they've been "coordinating."
According to the polls, "independent" Dan Osborn is in a toss-up race with Ricketts in Nebraska.
Emerson has South Dakota "independent" Brian Bengs within single digits of Mike Rounds.
The strategy is to elect enough independents to deny either party a governing majority—and use their votes as leverage for structural reforms.
Osborn's 2024 field director, Austen Campbell, laid out the plan:
"We have a goal for 2026 to run a slate of independents and deny both political parties the majority in the House of Representatives in hopes of getting an independent speaker."
Bengs said echoed that on a September 2026 Renew to Thrive call:
"We don't need to get 50 or 51 to change things. We just need a handful."
In their words, this handful is to do "arm-twisting" to get the structural reforms they want.
➡️ Paul Zeitz's May 2026 Concept Note: open primaries, ranked-choice voting, and "independent" redistricting.
➡️ RAD's Constitution Emergency Response draft: an Article V convention with amendments on "campaign finance and voting rights restoration, healthcare, education, and economic security, and ecological rights and climate accountability."
The draft calls that the MODERATE strategy.
And the political objective extends beyond reforming elections.
In 2023, Walt Roberts told the man who now runs the Independent National Convention that stopping the MAGA GOP was "job one."
As for ending the two-party duopoly?
"That's very secondary right now."
Put those statements together.
A plan to deny both parties a majority. Candidates running as independents. A small voting bloc positioned to extract concessions. A documented list of proposed constitutional and electoral changes. And a stated priority of stopping the MAGA GOP.
The question for Nebraska and South Dakota voters is whether they know what these candidates' political allies have been planning... and whether Osborn and Bengs share those objectives.

🚨🚨THE DEMOCRACY FILES / ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK, PART 10: THE ROLE OF FOREIGN STATES🚨
(First post deleted for typo)
How is an old government declared illegitimate and a new government declared the true successor?
Months before the actual transition, the following are achieved in advance:
• Civil society and activists get prepared for big uprisings.
• Media narratives are pre-seeded.
• Foreign officials provide cover.
The last point is what this drop is all about. You saw it last night - as soon as Lula "won" the election, EU officials and Alex Soros immediately swept in with their congratulations. That is a deliberate strategy to grant Lula legitimacy, not an organic congratulations.
The idea is to saturate the people with the idea that "this is the legitimate government, and you will accept it."
In these files, we see the various NGOs strategize on how to reach out to governments in advance and prepare them for what is coming. We also revisit how USAID OTI, the regime change arm of USAID, allegedly re-organized themselves inside the country.
We record one meeting taking place between Horizons Project and Catalonia officials. That we were able to document a meeting at all is unusual, because I'm told that these meetings are generally arranged at the highest levels and kept off the record (think Jake Sullivan, Norm Eisen level).

🚨🚨THE DEMOCRACY FILES / ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK, PART 9: THE BIG PICTURE 🚨
Sunday is a day of rest. Today I took a step back and asked, "where is all this money coming from?"
I'm too tired to type an actual summary. TL;DR: billions have been invested in restructuring American governance since Trump was elected. Many have warned of a color revolution because they saw the civil society apparatus (aka, having millions of people on standby to break stuff) being built in real time.
What makes 2026 different is that it's the first time we know of that we found an operational, short-term plan to actually do a coup.
Everything we've covered has been from the R2T NGO, which serves as a recording/coordinating platform of sorts for several key NGOs including the one consisting of 300 ex-USAID employees, RAD.
It's well documented in several previous drops that RAD has a tight relationship with the "Blocking" lane, now unified under the United Democracy Alliance (UDA) umbrella led by Horizons Project.
I researched the "big picture" of how UDA relates to bigger players, so to speak. This sets up the stage for later, much more consequential drops.
I think the video covers it pretty well...
I wish her the best.

🚨🚨 THE DEMOCRACY FILES / ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK, PART 7: THE SECRET MEGA-ALLIANCE WAITING FOR A RED LINE TO BE CROSSED 🚨
What do you call a mega-alliance that:
• Covers hundreds, if not thousands, of protest organizations
• Covers all the lawfare-related organizations
• Liasions with governors when a Constitutional crisis is crossed
• Consults federal workers on how to block emergency efforts
• Runs a situation room for the midterms and beyond
• Is credited to regime change expert and professor Erica Chenoweth
• Is operationalized by National Security Leaders for America, an organization of 1,600 retired officers, spies, and diplomats
• ... and determines the "red lines" for mobilization of the above?
Meet the United Democracy Alliance (UDA).
UDA is the secret alliance behind the messaging we saw this week:
• JB Pritzker's warning that states will "strongly resist"
• Governor Newsom's office declaring a "CODE RED"
• Norm Eisen talking about "war rooms"
• Slotkin predicting a "national security incident"
You will not find any mentions of the United Democracy Alliance (UDA) on the web. It is a mega-alliance of resistance NGOs ready to deploy on a moment's notice, monitoring every action President Trump takes and monitoring every polling place.
We only can put together the pieces by recordings. Some key quotes:
• "if there's a moment where there's a constitutional crisis, like one of the UDA four red lines, if they get crossed… governors then become the kind of lead anchor for political power." (Zeitz, Aug 6)
• "the big, big, big, big, big tent that's being organized in the blocking community so that if there is a red line crossed in terms of a constitutional crisis, like, everybody's already pre-organized." (Reiff, Aug 5)
• "We are also starting to consult federal workers on how to do some blocking inside the govt agencies during emergency situations" (Eric Manton, Zoom chat, Aug 6)
According to @JeffClarkUS , the last point above about federal workers conspiring to block emergency responses may violate serious statutes. More on federal workers involvement in Drop 8.
