As discussed, this is not a favorable turnout differential for Republicans. The electorate will be roughly three points bluer than in 2024, even as Republicans have gained a net 500,000 registered voters since then. Turnout has erased those gains and more.

Hey, remember all those Pod Save and centrist bros upset that the DNC was investing five figures in places like Guam? Yeah. About that. Ken Martin was right, and they were wrong. Everyone matters, and we leave no one behind.

Republicans burned through $740 million since Labor Day. Democratic polling leads held anyway. That's the plan DC consultants wanted @TheDemocrats to copy. DNC Chair @kenmartin73 bet on organizers in every state instead. Vote, then read the receipts: mdkapp.substack.com/p/they-s…

The weird 4chan nazis have convinced themselves, aided by the algorithmic manipulation of the billionaire eugenics peddler, that they somehow speak for GenZ or anything more than a very pathetic, very small and irrelevant subculture.

If you don't understand what these are, good for you. But if you do, the key thing is that young conservatives want to literally redefine evil as good, and vice versa. (If you want to learn, google "malfoid." Don't say you weren't warned...)

It is sad and cringe and weird, but that's what is happening here. Satanic panics are fake, but literal online worship of fascist evil is being posted by Elon Musk and the official Department of Education account.

It is literally against the rules of every dem party org to endorse a republican. If you do it, you are gone.
I don’t think this is healthy. It’s very reminiscent of Trump expelling everyone who didn’t go along with the lie that he won the 2020 election. I don’t think she should have endorsed Rogers. I think she should have just withdrawn her endorsement. But this isn’t a healthy way for a party to behave.

Michigan Democratic Party chair Curtis Hertel says Haley Stevens abandoned the Democratic Party and is no longer a member of the state party. He criticizes Stevens for rolling out her Mike Rogers endorsement in Detroit, and says she betrayed her supporters.

In the last 24 hours alone I've seen 5-6 Trump stories that would have gotten Obama removed from office. Mainstream media is in the tank for this administration.

Monthly checks to every state party, starting early, red states too. A Southern States Resource Hub. After historically writing off the South, that's what @KenMartin73 and @TheDemocrats built this cycle. @iamwesmoore named the mistake. This DNC fixed it. abcnews.com/Politics/gov-wes…

Vivek Ramaswamy seeks to take political advantage of the fact that his opponent was raped as a child. But to his credit, unlike many other Republican politicians, he was not personally the rapist in question.

I have a new piece out on the AI crisis. Yes, AI companies are attempting regulatory capture, and yes there will likelt be a financial crash due to overinvestment. But it is also a revolutionary technology that carries great risks and great potential rewards...

Since people here are convinced that 1, watery both sides pablum and 2, running against your own party are effective persuasion strategies, a reminder that yes, it is in fact possible to make the case for why Dems are in fact good.
Joe Rogan: Why are you a Democrat? .@JamesTalarico: My mother met my birth father, who had a drinking problem that sometimes led to being violent. My mom decided right then and there that she was leaving. She found a little apartment in East Austin and worked double duty at a hotel to provide for us. She saw Texas Democrats like Ann Richards, people who fought for the little guy. That was the classic Democratic Party. I asked my mom what we were, and she was like, ‘We're Democrats, because Democrats fight for the people.’ Our historical legacy is the party that fights for the little guy. That's why I'm a Democrat.

New email from @AOC to her list with some of her most expansive comments yet on AI: "Silicon Valley billionaires want us to believe that AI robots will destroy humanity. But the biggest threat to humanity are the tech oligarchs themselves."

Don't look now, but the DNC is doing truly good things: 1) strong investments in local organizing that is paying dividends in elections; 2) setting a diverse primary calendar to truly battle test our nominees; 3) and pushing back on bad establishment ideas.
