In reality, the Cavs came out really flat in that half and missed a lot of shots, outside of the last 5 minutes.
That being said, Peavy’s ability to provide POA defense and active hands on the perimeter by several guys broke this game open. Incredibly impressive

Mark Daigneault on OKC's next man up ability:
"Sam and his group do a great job of identifying people who align with what we emphasize..
They do a phenomenal job.. Micah Peavy is a great example of that."

Mark Daigneault on how OKC has so many guys who are ready to step up in an expanded role:
"Sam (Presti) and his group do a great job of identifying people who are going to align and identify with the things that we emphasize, which is also why having consistent emphasis is important. It just gives everybody a target. We know who we are, and we know what we want to be about. It allows guys to go out there and find guys who are a good match for that, and they do a phenomenal job of that. Micah Peavy is a great example. He's just, like, finishing our sentences right now in terms of the way that we want to be."

Peavy continues to play well for the Thunder. Providing good some good defense and finding ways to score on the other end.

Been very cool watching Micah Peavy because I think he is currently a great example of what to do when you are trying to get into a rotation/make a team.
Fights on the glass (super fundamental boxouts lol), isn't lost on defense and is solid at the POA, hasn't tried playing outside of his game.

Peavy is nice man. He just does all the small things and that’s what we really need.
Once Terry gets in the mix, we gonna be fine defensively

“I’ve been really talking with Caruso. The way he leads, the way he sees the game on the defensive end; the plays he makes, the extra rebounds, the steals, stuff like that.
That’s someone I did watch beforehand, before getting here, and to be on the same team as him has helped a lot”
Micah Peavy when I asked which Thunder player he has gravitated toward most since joining the Thunder

I can see why OKC like Micah Peavy. Feels very much like a Thunder player with his attitude and demeanor
Should be fun to watch his development on the wing. Also, shout out to Alex Caruso.
Both Peavy and Dalen Terry cite him as a helping hand 💪
