The Horn of Africa does not need more foreign interference, power games, or dictators fueling regional tensions. It needs peace deals, diplomacy, accountability, and leaders who value human life over personal power.
I oppose any country, including #Egypt, #Ethiopia, or others, contributing to further conflict in our region. Innocent civilians must not become casualties of political ambitions and power struggles.
The people of the Horn of Africa deserve peace, not endless wars. We need an end to threats, aggression, and authoritarian rule; especially in #Ethiopia and #Eritrea. No leader should hold an entire nation hostage to personal ambition.
Our future must be built on peace, mutual respect, democracy, and human dignity; not war, domination, or dictatorship. The people deserve to live. The people deserve freedom. The people deserve peace.

The speech was short, restrained, and noticeably lacking in energy and engagement. It gave the impression that he was not particularly eager to be there. For a leader addressing the public, the tone, substance, and delivery of a speech can speak volumes.
