Silence enforced through oppression is not genuine stability!
The Eritrean people continue to suffer from poverty, repression, isolation, imprisonment, and restrictions on their freedom of movement. The world can see Eritrean cities turning into ghost towns.

Isaias Afwerki has failed to protect his people’s freedom, justice, and rights. While Eritreans continue to suffer under repression and fear, he has no moral ground to lecture the world about sovereignty and international principles.

Stability built on silence, fear, and oppression is not true stability. Like North Korea, Eritrea may appear stable until the people’s suppressed anger finally erupts. The silence of the people is not proof of stability; freedom and justice are its true foundations.

Unfortunate to come from Adf-magazine. They need to be reminded that #NorthKorea, just like #Eritrea, is also a stable country until the Pandora's box, or the pressure cooker, is open.
