Grok @Bot rocks
Gavin Baker says Grok Bot is the most impactful AI product he and his firm have had yet, and reveals heβs up to 17 Grok Bots
βI mean, as a user, Grok Bot is the most impactful AI product to me and to the firm that weβve had yet. I glued together all this stuff with Claude Code, and Iβm sure it was user error on my part, you know, 50 years old. Iβm doing my best."
"But Grok Bot, it just makes it so easy. I think Iβm up to like 17 Grok Bots. And every day I think of a new one to add.β
Try Grok @Bot
Baker on a16z admitted something nobody his age says out loud. 23-year-olds are more fluent in AI than he will ever be. He has been trying hard. He is still behind.
Then he explained how Grok Bot leveled it.
"We got Claude Code. I built some stuff, did some cool stuff. Then in 3 minutes of creating Grok Bots, I had much better versions of everything I created."
Podcast summarizer. 10 seconds in Grok Bot.
Substack summarizer, X summarizer, X sentiment tracker. Hours in Claude Code. 7 to 12 seconds in Grok Bot. Better.
His frame: "To me, Grok Bot does feel like another ChatGPT moment."
Baker runs billions. He is calling Grok Bot a category reset.
At Tesla, we even care about the chipmunks
98-Year-Old Man Buys His First Self-Driving Tesla Model Y And Is Blown Away
βI've been driving it probably 2-3 months, and it's not made an error in its driving. In fact, the other day it stopped - a chipmunk was crossing the road, and there was no other traffic, and it did not run over the chipmunk β¦ For somebody that's 98-years-old, this is a real treat.β

FSD could literally free up OVER $1.5 trillion/yr... WHY isn't anyone talking about this??
If Lawmakers were serious about serving the people, they would start focusing on how to speed up FSD adoption.
The Data:
Fatal & serious crashes cost the U.S. almost $2 trillion per year in total societal harm; including ~$400 billion in direct economic costs in the form of:
- medical bills
- property damage
- lost wages
- enormous quality-of-life cost of lost years
- permanent disability
Teslaβs latest FSD data shows vehicles with FSD engaged are ~9Γ SAFER than the average driver.
That means, if fully adopted, FSD could produce savings the size of any one of these:
- ~6% of GDP
- The entire Social Security program
- Medicare AND Medicaid
- Roughly 2Γ the defense budget
At this scale, FSD (and technologies like it) could be one of the first real steps toward an age of AI "abundance" people talk about.
50 years from now, our children and grandchildren will look back in horror at the fact that we ever drove at all.

There has never been an excuse to drink and drive. With @Tesla expanding their Cybercab/Robotaxi services area across #Houston, there are more ways than ever to get home safely after a night out.
Plan ahead, make the smart choice, and never get behind the wheel impaired. #DontDrinkAndDrive
Impressive
I did say we'd be releasing our models periodically...introducing Gemini 4 Carbon, our next frontier model.
Following Argon's release just two weeks ago, Carbon shows the pace at which weβre pushing the frontier, it ranks #1 on the recently updated v5.0 of @ArtificialAnlys Intelligence Index at 59. It also leads across key cybersecurity evaluations scoring 88.2% on SEC-bench Pro for finding vulnerabilities, 54.8% on ExploitGym for exploitation, and 71.0% on CWE-bench for patching.
Weβre seeing significant improvements in long-horizon tasks even compared to Argon, and weβve strengthened frontier safeguards.
As we did with Argon, weβre going to roll it out gradually + responsibly. Some trusted cyber defenders will get access starting this week. We'll be expanding it to more partners through our Fairwind Program, ahead of wider availability soon, so hang tight!

Notice how the headlines work.
A Toyota crashes: "Driver injured in crash."
A Ford crashes: "Two cars collide on highway."
A BMW crashes: "Accident on Route 1."
A Tesla crashes: "TESLA crashes."
Not the driver. Not "a car." The brand, in the headline, every single time.
Millions of crashes happen on the roads every year, and almost none come with a brand name. But when it's a Tesla, legacy media suddenly cares which car it was.
Meanwhile, Tesla publishes its own safety data every quarter. With Autopilot engaged, Teslas go far more miles between crashes than the US average.
That's not journalism. That's a campaign.
The cars keep getting safer. The headlines just keep getting louder.
If you look closely enough, breakthroughs in everything are accelerating exponentially.
An exponential always starts off looking small.

but there is a massive shift happening in human biology right now.
it's sitting in press releases and almost nobody reads them
the last 6 months alone:
- a once-daily pill roughly doubled median survival in metastatic pancreatic cancer (13.2 vs 6.6 months)
- a one-time gene editing infusion cut hereditary angioedema attacks 87%, and 62% of patients stayed attack-free and off all other prevention for 6 months
- a one-time gene edit for cholesterol dropped LDL up to 62%, and it held for over a year
- a personalized mrna vaccine beat keytruda alone in a 1,137 patient melanoma phase 3
- retatrutide hit ~28% weight loss in a phase 3
- an ai-designed drug entered phase 3
- a pill that regrows hair passed its second phase 3
- an immunotherapy that could let some rectal cancer patients skip surgery, chemo and radiation just got fda approved
- a man lived 271 days off dialysis on a pig kidney
- human cells were caught passing chromosome-sized chunks of DNA to their neighbors, and it changes how the neighbors behave
we are on the verge of an era where the human body is a software problem and the update cycle gets shorter everyday
stick around, it's going to get weird

In 2008, Elon Musk faced a decision that would have broken most people
Two companies he had poured his heart, soul, and everything he had into were on the brink of collapse. He had just $30 to $40 million left, and saving one meant risking the life of the other
He was forced to confront an almost impossible question: Which of the two dreams he had sacrificed so much to build was he willing to let die?
His answer was neither
Even if it meant risking everything he had left
Tesla and SpaceX were both fighting for survival, and he had to make one of the hardest choices of his life
"I had two choices. I could put it all into one company, and then the other company would definitely die. Or split it between the two companies. But if I split it between the two companies, then both might die"
Then Elon said something that tells you everything about how much these companies meant to him:
"When you put your blood, sweat, and tears into creating something or building something, it's like a child. And so it's like which one am I gonna let starve to death? I couldn't bring myself to do it"
He split the money between both companies, knowing he was risking losing everything
"Fortunately, thank goodness, they both came through"
Nearly two decades later, Tesla has transformed the electric vehicle industry, and SpaceX has revolutionized spaceflight
Two companies that were on the brink of collapse went on to change the world
All because Elon Musk couldn't bring himself to let either one starve
Our civilization would be winning wondrously if we are exploring the galaxy with Von Neumann probes by 2100!
Larry Page might be right. He has correctly predicted many things.
Microsoft's Mustafa Suleyman reveals Larry Page told him at SpaceX that by the end of the century heβd be exploring the galaxies at the head of a von Neumann probe
βYeah, I remember in 2015 being in the canteen at SpaceX.β
βAnd we had our first meeting of the Ethics and Safety Board. So when we sold DeepMind to Google, we made it a condition of our acquisition that we would have an Ethics and Safety Board with independent representation on the board."
"One of those independent members, because Google had to agree, which was obviously Larry, Sergey, and David Drummond at the time. And then me, Demis, and Shane had to jointly agree who those three independents would be. And so we jointly picked Elon as one of them.β
βNo idea if that had an influence on the founding of OpenAI or not. But so then we had our morning session and we were sitting down for lunch and I was sitting next to Larry. You know, obviously he was suspicious of me as well because he was like, you know, youβre one of those speciesists.β
βAnd he said, you know, I think that what you donβt understand, Mustafa, is that by the end of the century, Iβm going to be exploring the galaxies at the head of a von Neumann probe, which means a von Neumann probe is a kind of self-propelling kind of robot that is able to gather energy from space as itβs careening through the light years.β
Remember when using the wrong pronoun got people canceled?
That was dumb.
If Elon Musk hadn't bought Twitter and fought back against the insanity of the last few years, the West would be much further down a path of self-destruction, self-hatred, and moral corruption
ββ’ Pronouns treated like sacred scripture
β’ State propaganda rebranded as "truth" and βmisinformationβ used to shut people up
β’ Heavy censorship of anyone who disagrees
β’ Child mutilation and sterilization sold as βgender-affirming careβ
β’ Birth rates collapsing while governments deliberately import a replacement population that refuses to assimilate and poses a threat to citizens
β’ DEI over competence and merit
β’ Open borders + cultural self-hatred as policy
βHe called the woke mind virus anti-science, anti-merit, and anti-human for a reason. Without the fight he started, the damage would already be irreversible
The woke mind virus is like The Walking Dead... it never stops coming. The fight has to continue or we risk the collapse of entire Western civilization
