I was sitting peacefully in my store when a lady walked in. At first, I thought she wanted to buy something, so I welcomed her with a smile.
But what she said next nearly made me lose my breath. 😭
She looked straight at me and said, “Madam, I’m sorry to come to you like this, but your husband got me pregnant, and since then, he has refused to pick up my calls.”

By 1 a.m., the table was covered in bottles, sparklers, and phones recording the night. Each time the waitress returned with a bill, the answer was the same.

Manager: "That's not our problem. Take the next order."
She paused.
Waitress: "Can I ask the cashier to bring up the money he has already spent? In cash."
Manager: "You want me to carry ₦10 million onto the floor, for a customer who's still spending?"
Waitress: "If he stops, we lose one more round. If he doesn't, he may lose a lot more than that. If anyone asks, I'll take the blame.
The manager hesitated, then nodded.
A few minutes later, the waitress returned to the table......
