Fascinating legal precedent: A UK employee becomes the first known humanist to win a religious accommodation exempting him from personally using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) at work.
He argued that offloading thinking and decision-making undermined his moral development, with secondary concerns about environmental impact, job displacement, and effects on human creativity.
As companies increasingly push AI into the workplace, this case raises a powerful question: will more employees now claim their rights to think for themselves, or will AI become unavoidable for everyone?

🚨🇺🇸 THE AI SELLOFF COULD BE THE BEGINNING OF A MUCH BIGGER FINANCIAL CRISIS
I spoke with financial analyst David Lin as some of the biggest names in technology were getting absolutely hammered.
Alphabet lost roughly $500 billion in market value in a single session. Intel plunged nearly 30%. Amazon is spending tens of billions on AI infrastructure while burning through cash.
But David thinks the real danger is hiding in the debt market.
He walked me through CoreWeave, an AI cloud company carrying an estimated $50 billion in debt, with some borrowing costs reaching 15–16%.
Its projected capital spending this year is roughly THREE TIMES its expected revenue.
And now, according to the Financial Times, Anthropic could receive a junk credit rating after its IPO despite planning more than $800 billion in computing investments through 2045.
David explained how this could unravel: financing dries up, data center construction slows, chip orders fall, and suddenly the companies supplying the AI boom get dragged down with their customers.
We also discussed China's tech collapse, Bitcoin and gold falling alongside stocks, and the Federal Reserve's increasingly uncomfortable position.
Oil prices are keeping inflation elevated. A weakening technology sector could mean layoffs and slower growth. The Fed may soon have to choose which problem to confront.
David isn't predicting that every AI company will fail. He thinks the technology will survive, just as the internet survived the dot-com crash.
BUT he believes the era of borrowing almost unlimited amounts of money to build AI infrastructure could be coming to an end.

🇺🇸 America could be heading toward a crisis bigger than anything we've seen in generations.
I spoke with Neil Howe, the historian behind The Fourth Turning, as reports of a constitutional confrontation in Poland were unfolding live.
What made the timing extraordinary was everything else happening around us.
The AI selloff is accelerating. Another war with Iran is looking increasingly possible. Political tensions are rising across Europe, and the US is heading into another bitterly contested election.
Neil has spent decades studying what happens when societies reach moments like this.
He sees three major dangers: a devastating financial crash, a breakdown of political institutions, and a major international war.
But what really caught my attention was his explanation of how they feed into one another.
An economic collapse can destroy public confidence. Political paralysis can invite foreign aggression. And a war can push an already fragile financial system over the edge.
We discussed America's deep political divisions, the possibility of rival centers of government emerging during a constitutional crisis, and why countries that have experienced war are taking civilian preparedness far more seriously than Americans.
Neil also raised something I hadn't considered enough.
We're building an economy increasingly dependent on AI, enormous data centers and interconnected infrastructure, while the power grids and communications networks supporting it remain vulnerable to disruption.
His concern isn't that catastrophe is inevitable, but that Americans have grown accustomed to assuming major crises happen somewhere else.
And as we spoke, the incoming reports of a possible coup in Warsaw was a reminder of how quickly political confrontations can escalate.
The next great crisis may not arrive as one dramatic event, but as several crises hitting at once, each making the others harder to contain.

Catherine Austin Fitts, an expert witness in the lawsuit against Bill Gates, Albert Bourla, et al. in the Netherlands, on why *they* are "implementing depopulation"
"these [billionaires] believe they can live [for] hundreds of years...[and] don't consider us the same species"
"so they're looking at the general population and saying they're too expensive, they're too hard to manage. In a world that's changing fast, they can't adapt given the risk issues, and we've had it"
"[and] a process began in 1997 [in which] vast amounts of money went missing from the U.S. government. I called it a financial coup"
"and if you look at the missing money, $21 trillion went out [by 2015]. If you look at the bailouts, $29 trillion [then] went out. I mean, you're talking about $50 trillion being sucked out of the U.S. government"
"and now they've adopted policies that allow them to keep totally secret books"
"the only way they can ultimately implement these policies is to radically lower life expectancy. [And] when the pandemic came along, I knew exactly what that was, and that's what they did"

Steve Harvey reveals he woke up owing the IRS $22,000,000 because his accountants spent SEVEN YEARS pocketing his tax checks and never filing a single return.
The government told him he had to pay $650,000 a month, every month, for 4 years. Miss ONE payment, and you go to JAIL.
He never would've known if his accountant hadn’t died. A woman cleaning out the office called his lawyer with a serious problem.
STEVE HARVEY: “She had found on the floor all my tax forms for seven years signed and with the checks stapled to it.”
“Well, they were cashing the checks, keeping the money and not turning in the tax forms.”
Seven years of bank statements that looked like a man paying his taxes.
“My lawyer called me, said, ‘Hey, man, we got a problem. You haven’t paid taxes in seven years.’”
“He said, ‘Man, that’s tax evasion. You can go to prison.’”
“I ended up owing 22 million. 22 million with the penalties.”
When he told his wife, Marjorie, she cried for two straight days.
“She says, ‘What you going to do?’ I said, ‘I’m going to go to work.’”
And he did.
“I took every comedy gig in this country, signed every contract. I went to work, man. I worked every single Friday, Saturday and Sunday.”
“I never missed a payment.”
He did that for four years. $650,000 a month, every month.
In 2012, he sold 49% of his radio company and used the check to pay the government off to zero.
“And that was the first time, man, I could breathe.”
The thieves were his accountants.
The $22,000,000 bill went to Steve Harvey.
And the only one who got threatened with prison was the man who got robbed.

FACT: The more senior people take the flu vaxx, the more they die of the Flu.
The flu shot is not a vaccine but it is a profit center for Pharma & it is definitely a con.
"I was brainwashed," Dr. Drew tells Dr. Kelly Victory. "I've told patients repeatedly to take the flu vaccine because the data shows that 'not only will it reduce hospitalization but reduce missed days at work... They don't get sick as often.' That's turning out to be totally BS."

🇮🇱🇮🇷🇺🇸 Dozens of Israeli jets and refueling tankers flew 800 miles toward Iran on Monday, and some US officials suspect it was bait to make Tehran fire first
An Israeli strike reportedly planned for October 10 was called off over Trump's objection to restarting before the midterms, and if Iran can be goaded into striking first, Netanyahu never has to convince Washington of anything.
Trita Parsi of the Quincy Institute says munitions have moved into Israel in the last couple of weeks, and he warns that if Trump pulls back at the last minute to cut a deal, especially after a midterm loss, the danger flips:
"The Israelis will preempt, not the Iranians, not the Americans, but a deal between the US and Iran and strike and try to blow it up."
A messy coalition count after October 27 keeps Netanyahu prime minister and his hand on the trigger well past the vote.

🔥 Mearsheimer: Ukraine Isn’t Being Abandoned, It’s Being Managed
John Mearsheimer says the real story isn't that Trump is abandoning Ukraine. It's that economic realities are reshaping U.S. strategy.
According to Mearsheimer, Washington needs Russian oil and diesel flowing into global markets to help avoid deeper economic disruption, which is why Trump is resisting tougher sanctions and pressuring Ukraine not to target Russian energy infrastructure.
"He can't abandon Ukraine because the deep state won't let him do that….Trump is no match for the deep state." The supreme contradiction and tension is palpable: Trump, the deep state, Europe, and Ukraine, are all working at cross purposes, but there is no path to ever succeed in helping Ukraine defeat Russia, yet they also won’t walk away, which merely keeps the war on life support, and Ukrainian deaths continuing into astronomical territory.
Mearsheimer’s conclusion: Ukraine support continues, but the priority is making sure the war doesn't interfere with critical global energy flows.
