Highlight of an insanely busy last week was presenting our @HSJ_Awards short-listed @thisnhs project to interface @CernerUK and @EMISHealth. A good-ish write-up here: htworld.co.uk/news/first-of-…
Project goals: 1. Improved patient safety, 2. Digitised and streamlined the entire process of nurses requesting and pharmacy supplying medication, 3. Reduced administrative burden thus freeing up time for clinical interventions

On Christmas Day, NHS staff will dispatch around 20,000 ambulances, serve 100,000 Christmas dinners in hospitals, and deliver 1,500 babies, as they do every year. Thank you to the incredible NHS staff working really hard over the Christmas and New Year period.
