Season 1 of The State of Her Podcast is a wrap! 🎉
Our hosts @ElizabethOdond1 & @judiplomat sat down with @Odhiambo_PR to reflect on the journey, memorable conversations, & lessons learned
Stay tuned for the episode! Subscribe, share, & help us keep amplifying women’s voices
I had the pleasure of joining a networking event at the German Residence to celebrate 36 years of German reunification hosted by H.E. Ambassador Sebastian Groth @Diplo_Jazz 🇩🇪✨
Meaningful conversations, new connections & building bridges across borders were the order of the day
Grateful for every woman who poured into us, and every woman we’ve had the privilege of pouring into.
The field taught me what no classroom could.
We started with a goal. Somewhere along the way, we found a movement.
And this movement? Powerful. Women-led. Unapologetic. Ours❤️🔥
My way of learning is through interactions. These women have opened my eyes to so many things, especially through their experiences as women from Bomet County.
30+ women are vying for one Woman Rep seat, yet Bomet has not elected a female MP in the last 2 elections. The message? Aim higher.
The seat is a launchpad, not a finish line, to be held on to.

Young people are applying for roles they were told to "wait their turn" for, & backing themselves without apology. No fear. No favor. Just readiness.
This is what a new generation of leadership looks like. Bold & unbothered by gatekeepers
Our full interview with Faith Beatrice, President of the @DaystarUni Students' Association, is officially out!

Sometimes the best ideas come when you step away from the work. 🌿
Between training sessions with @SJL_Kenya League Kenya, we took time to explore Homa Bay, connect with locals, and soak in the beauty around us. A reminder that inspiration often lives beyond the meeting room.

Did you know? Many women are left out of voter education, yet elections involve much more than voting day.
Day 2, participants sharpened their campaign skills with @warugurukiai, learning how to plan, strategize, & craft messages that connect.

Every leadership journey starts with understanding the space you're stepping into.
Day 1, led by @mercelineodhiss focused on understanding politics as the foundation of leadership, equipping young women leaders in @HomaBayCountyKE to lead change with confidence and purpose.

Attended the official visit of the German Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Johann Wadephul, @AussenMinDE
Grateful for the opportunity to exchange ideas, & meet inspiring people committed to diplomacy & cooperation.
2025 was the year of audacity. I took on new challenges, learned alongside an amazing team @SJL_Kenya , & had my biggest “do it afraid” moment—starting a podcast. Curious and excited to see what 2026 brings.
