We have detected an intensive Russian propaganda campaign across Europe using pictures from Ceuta to sow destabilization.
There have been more than 1,500 publications on outlets identified by analysts as a pro-Russian network, led by Pravda and RT. Pravda Spanish has posted almost 300 of them. Every language edition of RT has pushed more than 25 news items on the issue.
For years, Moscow has used migration and other sensitive topics to stoke fear and destabilize European countries.
This is not about the situation itself, but about the way Russia tries to exploit any topic that can benefit its agenda. The only way to protect the public from this interference is to cut it off.
All Russian propaganda resources should be completely banned in every European country that takes its national security seriously.
The display was hacked by a teenager who displayed the swastika. He was detained and later charged with displaying Nazi symbols, which is a criminal offence in Ukraine.
I cannot agree more. On a protest against the far right, support for the ultra conservative Iranian regime and antisemitic chants have no place.

This has been one of my main warning points. The sense of urgency is simulated. There’s no emergency. They are racing ahead in order to 1) break guardrails before they can be repaired and 2) push their loyalists past a point of no return. Great powers have always, to some extent, written the rules for themselves. But this should be a reminder that for all we might lament the “rules based order”, it’s largely gone, if it ever existed as we thought it did. America has gone its own way and is at best indifferent to her old allies. Hard power is the only thing which matters now. Europe needs to wake up to the new realities.

I’ve been reporting from the ground for 10 years, and I’ve never seen anything even close to what I witnessed today and yesterday.
This feels like a turning point in #GeorgiaProtests. I have never seen the Georgian people so unyielding. Just last week, I wrote that the smaller crowds in the streets compared to spring meant nothing — except that the anger hadn’t gone anywhere. Instead, it was simmering, growing stronger, waiting for the regime’s next mistake to erupt with even greater force.
Today’s riot was dispersed so many times, in such brutal ways, that I’ve lost count. So many people were bloodied. So many were detained.
Yet even now, Rustaveli Avenue is filled with people — beaten, bruised, exhausted, disappointed, and fiercely angry — but still holding EU flags with pride. Because we believe, that Europe is our home, and we will not surrender it at any cost.
Help us. Don’t let us lose this country to the Russians. No one has fought harder for it than we have.
