Prince was asked to do a solo on a cover of While My Guitar Gently Weeps and he showed up to the rehearsal and barely played anything. Didn’t have any solo ready at all and didn’t play one. They asked what he was going to play and he just said “Don’t worry about it.”
Then, on the night of the performance he just looms out of the shadows and plays this. The way he pivots off that F# root note into Dorian mode is so good. Massively underrated guitarist.

I just watched a small part of The Naza Film and honestly… it fked me up. Not because I needed more proof, but because watching them calmly strategize & calculate how to inflect maximum hurt and pain on civilians makes it impossible to pretend this was all accidental or unknowingly done.

I am reading a rather horrific book on Treblinka extermination camp. Between July 1942 and August 1943 approximately 850,000 Polish Jews were murdered in gas chambers. That is a genocide.
In 3 years of war 75,000 people in Gaza have died. The majority of them are Hamas fighters.
Treblinka is 1 camp out of 5 extermination camps in Poland in which millions of Jews were systemically murdered for 4 years.
To call what is happening in Gaza a tragedy or a war is fine. To call it a genocide is truly a blood libel and absolutely incongruent with what happened in occupied Poland in WW2. The fact my fellow Americans do it regularly astounds me.

The deal, which is structured on a take-or-pay basis, requires Wolfram Bergbau to pay a conditional pay-to-play upfront $3 million payment for the offtake rights under the expectation that production at the Los Santos Mine in Spain will restart, Almonty said.
The agreement is intended to create an expedited tungsten supply solution that can provide concentrate a much faster than a traditional mine can, Almonty said. The material supplied under the deal will come from the retreatment of the mine's existing tailings inventory, the company added.
