A parent can work all day, smile at a child in the evening, and still spend the night wondering what will happen next. That is the strain uncertainty can place on a home.
We ask that mandatory conscription be clearly separated from voluntary membership. We also seek an end to refusals based only on conscription and a review of recent refusals in which it was the deciding factor.
We have come together peacefully today, with our families. Reporters, please listen to the people living with this worry.
