When Rachel Ward was 24 she was one of the most famous faces on television. Today she lives among cattle and has no interest in hiding her wrinkles or gray hair.
In the 1980s her role as Meggie Cleary in the miniseries *The Thorn Birds* made her an international star. Years later she made a clear choice to distance herself from that world. She moved to Australia, built a family with her husband Bryan Brown, directed her own films, and eventually turned her attention toward the land.
Today she runs a regenerative cattle farm in New South Wales. When she shares videos or photographs of her daily life she does not rely on stylists or digital filters. She drives farm vehicles in broad daylight without makeup, wearing simple work clothes, with her white hair blowing in the wind.
Her natural appearance has attracted negative comments online. Some critics have called her old and deteriorated. Rachel has responded with humor. She pointed out that the more casual she appeared in her posts the more followers she gained. Then she asked, “Why on earth should women pretend to be forty when they’re almost seventy?”
She has made it clear that public approval no longer matters to her. What matters is knowing that her cows are healthy, her soil is fertile, and her land is being restored. She believes everyone should do whatever makes them happy. For her own life she has chosen something different.

A 3-year-old boy was kidnapped from a public library, and less than an hour later, he was sitting on a city bus beside the man who had taken him. The little boy was crying, and the other passengers had no idea he had been abducted. But when the bus driver looked at the child, he suddenly realized he matched the description of a missing boy police were desperately searching for.
It happened in Milpitas, California. Bus driver Tim Watson had heard the police alert about a missing 3-year-old boy earlier that day. When a man boarded his bus with a crying child, something didn’t seem right. The more Tim looked at the little boy, the more he suspected he was the child everyone was searching for.
But Tim couldn’t risk confronting the man. If he was the kidnapper, one wrong move could put the little boy in even greater danger. So Tim came up with a clever plan. He announced to the passengers that someone had reported a missing green backpack and began walking through the bus, pretending to search for it.
As he moved past the man and child, Tim got a closer look and confirmed his suspicions. He quietly contacted dispatch to alert police, then returned to his seat and continued driving as though nothing had happened. All the while, the suspected kidnapper remained on board, completely unaware that the driver had recognized the child.
Tim kept his composure until police were able to intercept the bus. Officers rushed aboard, arrested the suspect, and brought the little boy to safety. Thanks to one observant bus driver who refused to ignore his instincts, a terrifying kidnapping ended with a child being returned to his family.
Tim Watson wasn’t a police officer or a trained rescuer. He was simply a bus driver who recognized a child in danger and found a way to save him without putting him at greater risk. Let’s give this incredible man the recognition he deserves.

A 64-Year Secret Finally Shared: Princess Leonor Wears Queen Sofía’s Ruby Earrings
For more than six decades, Queen Sofía kept a particular pair of ruby-and-diamond drop earrings close. She received them as a wedding gift in 1962, the year she married Juan Carlos of Spain.
Her mother, Queen Frederica of Greece, gave them to her so they would complement the striking Van Cleef & Arpels ruby parure presented by shipping magnate Stavros Niarchos. Sofía wore the earrings on some of the most significant days of her life—including her husband’s proclamation as king—yet she never lent them to her own daughters or to Queen Letizia.
That changed on October 23, 2026.
At the Princess of Asturias Awards ceremony in Oviedo, Princess Leonor appeared in a burgundy Hannibal Laguna gown and the same earrings.
The deep red of the cabochon rubies, each framed by diamonds and finished with a pear-shaped drop, echoed the color of her dress and created an immediate visual link between three generations of royal women: Frederica, Sofía, and Leonor.
The loan was quiet but unmistakable. Reports noted that these were pieces Sofía had long kept personal. By choosing them for Leonor’s night as Princess of Asturias, she offered something more than jewelry.
She offered a thread of continuity—from a mother’s gift in Athens in 1962 to her granddaughter’s growing role as heir to the Spanish throne.
The earrings themselves are classic: oval cabochon rubies surrounded by diamond halos, suspended above teardrop rubies of the same rich color. They are neither the most elaborate pieces in the Spanish royal collection nor the most frequently seen.
Their power lies in the fact that they had remained, until now, almost exclusively Sofía’s.
In royal families, jewelry often carries private meaning that only becomes public when someone decides the moment is right.
On a stage in Oviedo, Leonor wore a small piece of her grandmother’s history. What began as a mother’s wedding gift has, for the first time, become a granddaughter’s.
Sometimes the most meaningful royal statements are the quiet ones. 🌹

🚨 Please take a moment to read this true story. Most people have no idea what it is actually like to live under communism. I lived it. So did my friend Hank.
Post of the day 👇🔥
Happy Taco Tuesday everyone! Tacos are great, but nothing beats living in a free country like the United States of America, where good tacos are plentiful and businesses selling them to the public are not owned or controlled by oppressive government!
That little white car behind me was my family’s escape vehicle from communism nearly 60 years ago! We fled brutal communist tyranny, risking our lives, with only the shirts on our backs, leaving all possessions and friends behind just to have a chance to live freely without persecution!
Basic human rights of free expression, religion, and political dissent were denied! The economy was in ruins with massive shortages and substandard products due to government monopoly eliminating competition and incentives! There were no free elections!
We never imagined that 60 years after our escape from communist oppression, hardcore communists would infect virtually every aspect of American society including the media, Hollywood, academia, judiciary, and even U.S. Congress!
A growing number of local, state, and federal officials including mayors and governors across America are Communists and Islamists! They don’t even hide it anymore! It seems like being a communist or Islamist is the best way to become a popular Democrat candidate in 2026!
Millions of Americans “miseducated” and “indoctrinated” by Marxist professors who hijacked our public schools decades ago are today’s BLM, Antifa, pro-jihadists, and @DemSocialists communists destroying this beautiful country from within!
We must reverse this suicidal trajectory by completely restructuring our educational system and holding academic institutions accountable to strict standards promoting critical thinking instead of teaching children not to think! Lenin said “give me four your to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted”!
Vote red to empower conservative candidates who stand for the traditional Judeo-Christian principles that made America the best, most powerful, and free country in the world! We must defeat the communist and Islamist cancer posing an existential threat not only to America but Western civilization itself!

💥It’s unbelievable that people would sit out the vote over short-term economic pain from strikes on Iran that kept us safe from a nuclear threat.
They lived through far worse under Biden — ~21% cumulative inflation vs ~5% under Trump so far, with unemployment still low at ~4.2% and stocks near records.
People know Trump can improve our economy because he has done it before. He’s no political newbie; if he could have delayed the attacks until after the midterms he would have. He had information we didn’t and acted.
Sitting out because of temporary pain from keeping the country safe is cutting off your nose to spite your face. Vote for all Trump-endorsed candidates this Election Day midterm.

President Trump, 80 and Unstoppable
Keeps Traveling and Fighting for America 🇺🇸
At 80 years old, President Trump is still logging the miles and putting in the hours like nobody else, hopping off planes late at night to keep working for the American people.
While most folks his age are slowing down, he’s out there handling the toughest issues head-on and never letting up.
Just look at his latest comments on Iran, where he made it clear we’re in a strong position and it’s his call when to wrap things up, saying they’ve wanted a deal but keep dragging it out and waiting for some election won’t help them.
Always working over and above for the American
People and the Country we Love ..
Thank you President Trump 🇺🇸

The Devil Picked the Wrong Patriot
to Mess With ⚔️ 🙏
Some days it feels like the whole world is a battlefield, and the enemy is throwing everything he's got at us with fear, doubt, exhaustion, and the lie that we're too far gone.
But I've learned something the hard way, and it's that he only whispers "there's no hope" when he knows exactly how much fight is left in you.
Every time I get knocked down, I get back up a little stronger, a little wiser, and a whole lot more stubborn about who wins this thing. I don't fight alone either, because the God I serve already wrote the ending, and it doesn't look good for the other side.
So pick up your sword, stand your ground, and tell me in the comments what battle you're winning right now. 🙏

Pinellas County. Woman in a full burqa in a county commission meeting just blasted the Islamic called to prayer at the podium.
It came as a complete surprise.
This was a preview of the future some people want for Florida.
The woman in the burqa refused to stop when her time was up.
Her resistance wasn’t about public comment or part of the meeting.
It was an Islamic power play.
Byron Donalds warned about this.
We live in the United States. If you come, you must assimilate
The Constitution is clear.
Shariah law has no place in Florida.
Sharia law has no place in Michigan. Sharia law has no place in Texas or Minnesota or any other state.
One set of laws. One Constitution. No exceptions.
Vote smart.

🎃 Halloween Is WAY Older Than You Think, Y'all! 🍬
Okay, so get this: Halloween started over 2,000 years ago with the Celts, and it was called Samhain (say it "SOW-in," don't ask me why). It marked the end of harvest, and they believed that on October 31 the dead could just stroll right back into town. So what did they do?
They lit giant bonfires and dressed up in animal skins to scare the spirits off, which is basically the first costume party ever.
Then the Church came along and made November 1 All Saints' Day, also called All Hallows, and the night before became All Hallows' Eve. Say that fast enough and you get Halloween!
Back in the Middle Ages, folks went door to door "souling," trading prayers for little soul cakes, so trick-or-treating has been around a lot longer than candy corn.
Over in Ireland they carved scary faces into turnips, and honey, I can't even picture carving a turnip. When Irish families came to America in the 1800s, they found pumpkins, which are way bigger and easier, and bam, the jack-o'-lantern was born.
By the 1950s, kids everywhere were out trick-or-treating, and moms everywhere were stealing the good candy.
If you don't celebrate Halloween it's a Great Excuse
enjoy your favorite candies 🍬

133 years ago tonight, the mayor of Chicago answered a visitor at his own home. In two weeks, he was supposed to be getting married.
October 28, 1893. Chicago was on top of the world. The World's Columbian Exposition, the dazzling "White City," had drawn millions of visitors. It was set to close in two days with a grand celebration.
Mayor Carter Harrison Sr., 68, had spent that day at the Fair, giving a speech about the city he loved. He was engaged to a young New Orleans heiress named Annie Howard. Life was good.
That evening, a young man came to his house on Ashland Avenue and asked to see him.
His name was Patrick Eugene Prendergast, 25. He had backed Harrison's campaign and was convinced the mayor owed him a job in city government. The job never came.
When Harrison stepped into the hall, Prendergast pulled a revolver and shot him. Within the hour, the mayor of Chicago was dead.
Prendergast walked to a police station and turned himself in.
The Fair's grand closing celebration was canceled. In its place came a public memorial service. Harrison lay in state at City Hall while mourners filed past.
A young lawyer named Clarence Darrow later tried to save Prendergast by arguing he was insane. He failed. Prendergast was hanged on July 13, 1894.
Today a statue of Harrison stands in Union Park, about two blocks from the house where he was killed.
One man's grudge turned the greatest party in American history into a funeral.
