Just so new followers and potential followers know what I look for while I'm vetting you (not judging you...big difference), here's my how-to list that I've compiled with my own brief time here, and the wisdom I've gained from those that have gone before me:
1) A bio and photo...it really is important, as it gives
me some sense of who you are, at a glance.
2) A pinned post of something that's important to you
or descriptive of you.
3) When I scroll down your posts, will I see endless
'follow trains' or more personal shout-outs of your
own and others? I ask this because I've found that
follow trains draw bots by the score, and seemingly
diminished exposure.
4) Will I find personal posts in your own writing, or
just a stream of other people's posts? I understand
that not everyone is good at expressing
themselves, but if instead of just Reposting (which
doesn't help those that are monetized), and time
allows, a quick little statement of your own in a
Quote (which does help the monetized) gives me a
sense of who you are.
5) Will I get the sense that your sole focus is
monetization to the exclusion of any real
engagement beyond click-bait questions? If so, you
do you, as this is soon to be a free Country again,
but I'm not going to respond to it, and I will be
checking to see if you drop me if I don't...I will
respond in kind.
6) What will I see for a follow to follower ratio? If I see
that the number of people you follow is significantly
lower than the number that follow you, I'm naturally
going to assume that you'll drop me soon, and
saying IFB or IFBAP means nothing to you.
7) Lastly, am I going to see that you only value Blue
Checkmarks? As someone that didn't have one for a
year and a half, and only recently got one, this has
become a pet peeve. I see it as arrogant and
shallow, and just another means of sowing Class
Division...did we learn nothing from 12 years under
the Obama/Biden regime?!
In summation, I vet for my own peace and the peace of those I follow. After 16+ years of debate/argument,
I'm now only trying to build my own community of like-minded people, so that I have somewhere to go to soak up and share positivity. Couldn't we all use that?
Establishment RhINO, @JDVance! These are my thoughts to a T, and I've said as much before, but I'm nowhere near the wordsmith @CynicalPublius is! Thank you, sir!
I decided to sleep on JD Vance’s post from yesterday before commenting on it substantively. I have done so, and given it substantial thought.
My verdict? Here is what I believe that post actually was saying:
“Yeah we lost the election big time. But it’s not my fault, it’s the fault of the guy who made me who I am, and to whom I owe my entire political career. If only everybody had listened to me everything would have been OK. Oh yeah, I’m specifically throwing my boss under the bus, but I am also impliedly throwing Rubio and Hegseth under the bus too because I want to be President. No, I’m not going to talk about the way my lunatic belief that the Iranian mullahs could be reasoned with is really what brought us to this point. I’m also not going to talk about how my hatred of Israel and alliance with fellow Israel-haters and groyper-adjacent loons like Tucker chases away far more voters than it attracts. In other words, I’m not taking responsibility for anything and blaming everybody else. And I’m dropping this literally hours after the election is over so I can set the narrative now before anybody else has a chance to talk that says I’m the good guy, that MAGA is dead, and that I’m the leader of what comes next. No, I did not coordinate this with Trump, I just told him I’m going to do it. And he will say it’s OK because if he does not he’ll get savaged with reports that he has lost control of the Presidency, which was kind of what I wanted. It’s DC. Loyalty does not matter. Vote for me for President.”
Does loyalty matter? I believe it does, because if someone is disloyal to the man who made them, they will also be disloyal to the voters who put them into office.
My 2c.
(And yes, if Vance is the nominee I’ll still vote for him over communist jihadists, but now is the time to debate these kinds of issues inside our own movement.)
Texans, I know you didn't vote for Talafreako, so has Gov. Abbott given any sign that he's looking into this?
Oh, Michigan, @BarackObama screwed you over so badly. 😪

Mr. Vice-President,
Please allow me to present a different perspective.
The problem was not the Iran War. It was the cease fire.
If you start a war, you need to win it and finish it – otherwise don’t start it.
This war should have been over six months ago, with the Strait of Hormuz wide open and oil flowing. The second and third tiers of Iranian leadership should have been destroyed, and we should have supported the pro-western forces who could have taken leadership. We stood on the brink of a new, more peaceful Middle East - and then we blinked. We had a chance not only to deny Iran nuclear weapons, but to get rid of the world’s biggest supporter of terrorism.
Instead, we had a cease fire, which was followed by months of will we or won’t we finish the job. Every day was a different message. There still is. Is the war over? Is it about to begin? No one knows. There is confusion and inconsistency.
In June 2025, America was not involved. This was an Israel vs Iran issue.
No one forced the United States to attack Iran then, or in February of 2026. It was a decision made by President Trump. In my opinion, it was the right decision.
Once the decision was made, we should not have stopped until the regime fell. But instead, you negotiated a cease fire that didn’t last, didn’t work and left us in no man’s land, with higher prices and our troops still deployed.
Our troops could have been home, the Navy returned to its bases, a peaceful regime in place , new alliances forged, and gas prices below $3.00 a gallon.
No, Mr. Vice President. It’s not the war. It’s the so-called cease fire.
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up.
So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us."
Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026.
There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true.
But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone.
Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were:
1) End the war
2) Focus on cost of living/inflation
3) Put America First
4) Change our relationship to Israel
Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.)
In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you.
The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night.
If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest.
But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there.
I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.
Ahh, now the light is shining on the truth.
POLAND: The recent attempted coup in Poland was all about money and power. The EU wants Poland to adopt the euro, but its president has resisted the effort. The fact is that Poland has more gold than the European Central Bank - 632 tonnes versus 506 tonnes. If Poland adopted the euro, it would have to transfer much of the gold it holds domestically to the ECB in Frankfurt, Germany.

Our amazing lame duck Senate GOP majority is on vacation until November 9th. Then they’ll be taking another four-day vacation for Thanksgiving. Then another 12-day vacation starting on Dec 21st. You have to admire the complete lack of self-awareness and disdain for their constituents.

FOLLOW THE MONEY: Tracking Another $30 Million in U.S. Counterterrorism Funding to the Taliban
As your Senators continue funding the Taliban, let's talk about a recent payment. First, in the interest of full disclosure, there are several different buckets of funding that ultimately benefit the Taliban. As most of you know, I have focused extensively on the counterterrorism (CT) funding. Why? Because that is where the lack of transparency becomes particularly important.
CT funds are dark money. These payments are not publicly reported, meaning someone in Congress can look you in the eye, hold a press conference, and tell you they stopped the money going to the Taliban, knowing full well that this particular funding will never appear in the public reporting. What they seem to forget, however, is that there are two sides to every transaction.
If the U.S. government refuses to disclose how much money it is delivering, you can simply work to document the transaction from the Taliban's side. Several years ago, they apparently thought we were too dumb to figure that out. Then, as more people began tracking the flights carrying payments from Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, to Kabul, Afghanistan, the deliveries were moved to Doha, Qatar.
But late last month, we identified something interesting involving the counterterrorism funding. On Sunday, October 25, 2026, the U.S. delivered what appeared to be approximately $30 million to the Taliban. This time, however, the delivery did not take place in Doha. It took place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It appears that at least the CIA and State Department played a role in this particular payment, although the Department of War is also involved in this counterterrorism funding.
Was this an attempt to conceal the delivery from those of us tracking these transactions? I cannot say for certain. But if that was the objective, IT FAILED.
And to add insult to injury, there is another important question: Who received the money?
The payment was handed over to Mullah Abdul Haq Wasiq, the head of the Taliban's General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI). Wasiq is a former Guantanamo Bay detainee and one of the five Taliban prisoners released by the U.S. in 2014 in exchange for Bowe Bergdahl, whom I, and many others, consider a traitor.
Let that sink in. These fools are paying off terrorists while both al-Qaeda and the Islamic State-Khorasan Province (ISKP) have grown to their strongest levels in Afghanistan ever in the last handful of years. The American people deserve a full accounting of every dollar delivered to the Taliban, regardless of which funding authority, government agency, or financial mechanism is used to move it. Congress should be demanding those answers, not hiding behind reporting requirements that allow certain payments to remain out of public view.
And for every elected official who thinks they can keep their hands clean of this, understand that a percentage of this funding has been diverted to support al-Qaeda’s planned attacks on the U.S. homeland. There are plenty of us willing to testify about the delivery of these funds, including the monthly payments made to the sons of Osama bin Laden. You are done claiming ignorance about funding the next 9/11.
I've never blamed the true Texas patriots.
HOLY CR*P 🚨 Official Election Administration and Voting Comprehensive Report buried all the way on page 193 of the document shows Texas processed 2,900,357 new valid voter registrations between 2022-2024 without proof of citizenship
Documented proof of citizenship like birth certificate, passport and naturalization papers is not required at the time of voter registration in Texas
56.5% of Texas voter registration were classified as “new valid registrations.”
This is extremely suspicious that 55% of Texas voter registrations were “new”
Go get'em, Tigress!
I’m a team player.
Not many things will make me go scorched earth.
Setting up @PeteHegseth as scapegoat is one of them.
And, yes, I know the blackmail.
You know who you are.
I see I'm not alone with this opinion. For me, that's when I began to see him as an establishment RhINO.

When a Muslim Brotherhood member wins a Senate race, that’s NOT DEMOCRACY; that’s USEFUL IDIOTS hating their own country. When the mullahs in Iran took over, socialists helped them, and later, the Islamists killed them all. This is the most dangerous moment for Western civilization. GOD BLESS AMERICA.
U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed is a dark chapter in this great nation’s history.
And as the Bible warns:
“For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” — Galatians 6:7 (KJV)
Be careful what you plant in the name of democracy. You may not enjoy the harvest.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:
The GOP doesn’t know how to fight. They don’t know how to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty.
You had two years to send people to jail. Omar should have been arrested, prosecuted, and deported. Tlaib should have been afraid and lawyered up. Pelosi should have been forced out. The Clintons should have been arrested.
You had two years to pass the SAVE Act, twist whatever arms on the SCOTUS to fix the loophole in the 14th, and codify the cuts in DOGE.
Instead, they sat on their hands and congratulated themselves over other people’s victories. No outreach. No change. No building on 2024.
Don’t worry, though… the Democrats are about to put on a masterclass in getting power, keeping it, and maintaining it for the future. Texas was just the first step.
If the GOP doesn’t learn from this, our country is doomed. We can’t have Madame President Ocasio-Cortez in our White House.
