No, it wasnt published in Finland and suffers from heavy bias.
Well, this guy from King's college found something else and that was published in Finland. So I guess quite credible.

MORE: Russian forces suffered their highest monthly losses of the war thus far in October 2026, paying a growing price for their territorial losses. Russian casualty rates and territorial losses match the battlefield reality that Russian forces have lost the initiative and their offensive capabilities in much of the theater. Russian forces retain the initiative in the immediate area of Dobropillya, Donetsk Oblast, where they have concentrated the bulk of their offensive operations. But Ukrainian forces have seized the initiative in the Kupyansk, Lyman, and Oleksandrivka directions and are contesting it in western Zaporizhia Oblast.
NEW: Russian forces lost ground on the battlefield in October 2026 for the second month in a row. Russian forces continue to sustain significant personnel losses while losing ground, and Russia’s current force generation system continues to recruit fewer soldiers than needed to replace these losses. These factors likely explain Putin’s turn to a new theory of victory that relies on using long-range ballistic missiles and jet-powered drone strikes to hammer Ukraine into surrender over the winter.

Swedish company AJ Produkter has sponsored the ice hockey WC for 37 years. Now, it’s boycotting the tournament because Russia is allowed to compete.
“There are many tough decisions to make in business, but this wasn’t one of them,” says CEO David Bray.

In today’s Vatnik Soup, we examine the ties of Donald Trump and his family to Russian intelligence operatives and the Kremlin. His current dealings with Putin may shock some people, but the pattern of collusion has been clear for more than a decade.

I still don’t understand why people living in the West who hate the West refuse to accept Putin’s offer of immigrating to their favorite right-wing utopia.

Wow. Malin Ekman, this is no longer simply about interviewing a controversial academic. It is about giving an established pro-Kremlin narrative a respectable platform without adequately challenging it.
Jeffrey Sachs has repeatedly claimed that:
• The war began with a US-backed coup in Kyiv in 2014, not with Russia's aggression.
• NATO expansion, rather than Putin's imperial ambitions, was the decisive cause.
• Russia was effectively driven into invading Ukraine by Western policy.
• The West and particularly the US bear primary responsibility for the continuation of the war.
• Ukraine's neutrality is presented as the central solution, while the consequences for Ukrainian sovereignty receive far less scrutiny.
He has even dismissed Putin's own imperial rhetoric as largely irrelevant to understanding the invasion.
These are not uncontested historical facts. They are Sachs's interpretations, and several have been challenged by Ukrainian historians, journalists and researchers.
Euromaidan was a popular uprising against corruption, repression and Yanukovych's abandonment of the EU agreement. It was not simply a NATO operation. VoxUkraine has documented the historical problems with Sachs's account.
And let us remember what actually happened: Russia invaded Crimea in 2014, launched its full-scale invasion in 2022, and the UN General Assembly condemned Russia's aggression by 141 votes to five.
The UN's own investigators have documented Russian war crimes, systematic torture and crimes against humanity in occupied Ukraine.
None of this disappears because Jeffrey Sachs has impressive academic credentials or says he believes in peace.
Peace is not the same as accepting Moscow's conditions. Diplomacy is not the same as shifting responsibility from the aggressor to the victim.
Malin Ekman is entitled to interview anyone she wants. But journalism also has a responsibility to challenge the claims being presented.
When a narrative repeatedly places the responsibility for Russia's invasion on Washington, NATO and Kyiv, while marginalising Moscow's agency, one should ask a very serious question:
Where does critical journalism end and the normalisation of Kremlin talking points begin?
“I’m no one’s apologist… I believe in peace”.
"Men i Sverige har vi i själva verket en bakvänd ordning. Exceptionellt stor öppenhet gäller för helt vanliga privatpersoner... För personer som fattar viktiga beslut finns däremot ingen motsvarande utökad insyn."

This seems like a great time to reshare my favourite Sir Patrick Stewart performance, ‘What has the ECHR ever done for us?’ It’s just perfect in every possible way … including the ending 😂😂😂 RIP.

Det börjar röra på sig i debatten. För bara några år sedan var det otänkbart att säga som det faktiskt är i skolan utan att blickarna genast riktades mot lärarna, med anklagelser om dålig elevsyn o bristande relationell kompetens. Tack @MisterMag1ster

Here’s an out the box thought, if Russia just left Ukraine, or hadn’t even invaded in the first place, nobody would have died 🤷♂️
How about that for a radical idea…..just throwing it out there
