While Canada kills itself, America advances all of society. Steel. Superintelligence. A revival of faith. Mike Steger connects three stories shaping the future, contrasts Trumpโ€™s America with Carneyโ€™s Canada, and explains the critical American secret this November.

This announcement of a giant new Iowa steel plant plant just got trumped (literally) by today's huge announcement about Korean LNG and nuclear investment. It's gonna be a challenge to keep up with the President for the next 35 days. One person who won't keep up is Mark Carney. prometheanaction.com/the-midโ€ฆ

Gary George Wetzel joined the Army in February 1966, shortly after turning 18. After initially serving as a heavy-equipment instructor, he volunteered for Vietnam and arrived there later that year. Wanting to serve in aviation, Wetzel eventually joined the 173rd Assault Helicopter Company, 11th Combat Aviation Battalion, 1st Aviation Brigade. He became a helicopter door gunner. By January 1968, Wetzel had already survived being shot down four times. Then came January 8. Near Ap Dong An in South Vietnam, Wetzel's helicopter was part of an insertion force that landed under devastating enemy fire. Seconds after touching down, the aircraft was struck. Wetzel and crew chief Bart Jarvis attempted to help their wounded aircraft commander, Tim Artman, when two enemy rockets exploded only inches away. The blasts hurled Wetzel into a rice paddy. His left arm was effectively destroyed, while his right arm, chest and left leg were also severely wounded. But Wetzel continued fighting. Despite massive blood loss, he staggered back toward his helicopter and returned to his machine gun. According to his official Medal of Honor citation, Wetzel's gun was at that moment the only weapon placing effective fire on the enemy. He remained at his position until he had destroyed an enemy automatic-weapons emplacement that had been inflicting heavy casualties and preventing American troops from advancing. Then, rather than concentrating on his own wounds, Wetzel again tried to reach his wounded aircraft commander. He lost consciousness from blood loss. When he awakened, he continued crawling toward his fellow crewmen. Wetzel eventually reached Jarvis and helped him attempt to move Artman toward the protection of a nearby dike before losing consciousness again. Artman did not survive. Wetzel did. His left arm was amputated at a field hospital, and he spent approximately six months recovering in hospitals before leaving the Army in June 1968. On November 19, 1968, President Lyndon B. Johnson placed the Medal of Honor around Gary Wetzel's neck during a White House ceremony. He was only 21 years old. His citation remembered not only his determination under fire, but his repeated attempts to help his fellow crewmen despite wounds that could easily have killed him. We remember Gary G. Wetzel and the helicopter crews who repeatedly flew into dangerous landing zones to carry soldiers, ammunition and supplies across the battlefields of Vietnam. #MedalOfHonor #USArmy #TheVietnamWar

๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ”ฅ It sounds like President Trump just RETIRED the term "fake news" and replaced it with "ARTIFICIAL news" "Artificial intelligence is like the news. FAKE news. The word artificial. In fact, I could call THEM artificial. I think I found a new name... I'm going to call them artificial news." "Fake news is one of my great terms but now I'm going to call them artificial news. I think it's good. I like that." The man has a gift.

This is all Democrats care about. They have nothing to offer American citizens, so they will import illegal votes. Itโ€™s that simple. And they will continue to lie, cheat, and steal to keep it this way until America is gone.

It's so good to see President Trump and Elon Musk back on the same page again.
๐Ÿšจ Elon Musk just MIC DROPPED this reporter who was dooming about Super Intelligence REPORTER: Not if they haven't got a job! ELON: Well, jobs have ALWAYS changed. A computer used to be a job: a building full of people doing calculations. I don't think anyone is pining to go BACK and do calculations all day to do bank interest rates! We'll see an EVOLUTION of roles. As the president mentioned, there is a tremendous demand for people [in SI]. The most likely outcome...is incredibly beneficial. It's a future you would want. ๐Ÿ’ฏ Trump and @ElonMusk are on the SAME PAGE on this Areas like Europe, who lack the same SI infrastructure as the US, are going to fall behind and WISH they were up here with America And China CERTAINLY wants all of the mass data center and SI advancement we are having. America is winning the future at all costs, and the people will benefit!

These are the greatest nights. Youโ€™ve worked your ass off for a year in USAF pilot training and itโ€™s time to get your assignment. The Guard and Reserve guys know where theyโ€™re going but the active duty guys do not. We submit โ€œdream sheetsโ€ where we put our aircraft choices, and then weโ€™re matched with a weapon system. Ranking is based on your class standing (academics, flying evaluations, etc.). Itโ€™s an incredible night. I got what I asked for but some did not. We all, unanimously, celebrated beating the odds together. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ @usairforce

You want the small towns and manufacturing to come back? You want a $15 billion steel plant to be built in the center of flyover country? You want good paying jobs for the working class? If you want all of that then you have to embrace tariffs and a secure border because none of that will happen without them. In fact, as has been seen over the last 50 years without them, the exact opposite will happen as jobs are outsourced, companies move offshore for cheap labor/lower cost of production and higher profits, illegals and foreigners are funneled into the country to take the good paying jobs that are left and the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. You get what you pay for.

WHILE THE WORLD ARGUES, AMERICA PUT A CITY-SIZED ROCKET IN ORBIT At 7:48 this morning, while the rest of the planet was still arguing about tariffs and elections and whose fault everything is, a rocket taller than the Statue of Liberty lifted off a beach in South Texas and did something no rocket that size has ever done. It went to orbit and stayed there. That's Starship, on its fourteenth try. Thirteen times before this it flew and fell short, sometimes spectacularly, and thirteen times a certain kind of commentator declared the whole thing a billionaire's fireworks show. This morning it had an engine quit on the way up. The old way of doing things, the way of committees and cautious men, would have been to abort and study it for a year. Instead, the ship relit an engine it wasn't supposed to need, pushed itself the rest of the way to 17,500 miles an hour, and opened its doors. Out came twenty-six satellites, each one the size of a 737 when it unfolds. The company's own spokesman said the payload was worth about twenty Falcon 9 launches of bandwidth. Twenty flights' worth of internet, delivered in one morning, from one ship, and then the ship came home and splashed down in the Pacific in time for lunch. Here's what I keep coming back to. Nobody made the country do this. No five-year plan, no ministry of rockets. A bunch of engineers on a Texas beach decided the future should arrive sooner, and it did, and the rest of us got to watch it on our phones. That's not something that happens everywhere. It happens here. Every empire in history was built by whoever controlled the high ground. For a few thousand years that meant the hill above the river. Then the sea. Then the air. This morning, in the time it takes to eat breakfast, we reminded the world where the high ground is now, and who's standing on it. Argue about the rest of it. That's fine. That's what a free country does. But somebody put a city-sized rocket in orbit today, and it wasn't them.

MORGAN STANLEY IS BUILDING A MAJOR U.S. HUB IN DALLAS WITH MORE THAN 3,800 JOBS AND HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS IN INVESTMENT. JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs are already expanding into Texas too. Wall Street can keep the brand name. The real money is moving where taxes are lower, businesses can breathe, and people still want to live. Dallas is not chasing New York. New York is chasing Dallas.

It's another way to help restore dignity in the guys, and to help them understand that there are people rooting for them. On to the next goal...

Not many years ago, America looked at itself and had to ask a hard question: how did we let this happen? Wait for the pause that's the moment everything shifts. This isn't a soundbite, it's a rare, honest confession from a sitting Secretary of State about how dependent this country became on other nations for the things that matter most. No blame, no spin โ€” just a quiet reckoning, spoken out loud, in front of everyone. Watch his face when he gets to the part about what we're going to become instead. Because underneath the politics, this is really a story about resilience โ€” about a country choosing to stand back up on its own two feet. This is the clip everyone's sharing right now, and once you hear the ending, you'll understand why.

The best part of this trip was presenting the Command Master Chief of @CVN_72 with a Bronze Star on the Mess Decks in front of his Sailors. The crew went wild because they loved their Senior Enlisted Leader. His leadership got the USS Abraham Lincoln through a 10 month combat deployment.
