I feel like preaching this morning, guys. 😂
So I was reading John chapter 1 this morning, and something really struck me.
In verse 1, the Bible introduces Jesus as the Word.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
Jesus was there from the beginning. He is the Light that came into the world.
But then, in verse 6, John is introduced.
And the Bible says:
“There was a man sent from God whose name was John. He came as a witness to testify concerning that Light.”
That got me thinking…
Why did God need John?
Why was John important if Jesus was already the Light?
Then I realized something.
Jesus could come into the world and people could be physically around Him, but they still needed someone to introduce Him to them.
John was that person.
In verse 15, John testified concerning Jesus. He told the people, “This is the one I spoke about.”
And when Jesus finally manifested, John pointed Him out:
“Look, the Lamb of God!”
John didn't try to keep people for himself. In fact, his own disciples started following Jesus, and John allowed them to go because he knew that Jesus was the One they needed.
And this is what God impressed on my heart this morning:
There is always a John.
There is always someone God sends ahead of you to announce you.
Someone who will introduce your business to the right people.
Someone who will taste your product and tell others, “This is good. You need to try it.”
Someone who will recommend you for an opportunity.
Someone who will mention your name in a room you haven't entered.
Someone who will see your talent, your gift, your passion and say, “You need to meet this person.”
We call them destiny helpers, but sometimes they are simply your John.
John didn't create Jesus.
John didn't make Jesus great.
John simply announced what was already there.
And I believe there are people carrying something great who are only waiting for their John to announce them to the world.
So my prayer for you today is:
May God show you your John.
May He send the person who will introduce you to the right people, open the right door, recommend your work and announce what God has already placed inside you.
And when your own John comes, may you recognize them.
In Jesus' name. Amen. 🙏🏽

There’s an old saying: Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered.
Now, don’t misinterpret this. I am not a jihadi calling for anyone to be literally slaughtered. It is a metaphor.
The point is, in human endeavors, we must regrettably expect some greed to be involved. But too much is just too much.
Tinubu is a hog. Nobody in history has engorged themselves at Nigeria’s public trough more than he has. His policies have looted the treasury and racked up overwhelming debt for the sole benefit of himself and his cronies — without one iota of public benefit — while the standard of living and security of the nation have plummeted.
The people are suffering and dying while he luxuriates in Paris and issues still more massive, no-bid contracts to his buddies.
For the good of humanity, It’s time for this hog and his bloodthirsty party of criminals to meet their political end.
