Imagine Capcom actually cared a little more about their Genesis/MD releases of SF2 and put some more effort in. What would that be like? It'd be like the Blast Processing Edition Romhack! See how it compares to the original AND the arcade game!

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026)
Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love.
We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway.
America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire.
His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen.

It feels like the AIpocalypse is fully here, these days.
Here's my thoughts on it AI in retrogaming projects. I think its BASICALLY fine. Yes, there's a lot of quick "slop" projects, but there are also projects using it in thoughtful ways. (more)
There's a difference between throwing out a lightining quick AI "port" to a console and refining what the AI did to make it more accurate or even improve on the original version for a new console release. It all depends on how you use it. (more)
Ok, 100% completed Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.
Here are my thoughts arter doing and seeing everything.
First, story: didn't care. To be fair, I don't care about the story in any CV game, but this one hits you with more story scenes than the others.
The areas aren't really distinct enough and I blame the generic art style for a lot of that.
The weapons are fine, but I wish there was more variety. You won't find those crazy 3 or 4 weapons like in most of the prior CV metroidvanias.
The delay on the whip swing is annoying

Here's a background I've been fiddling with for my Megadrive game, temp art from a pack, everything is on BG_B so the A foreground is free to use.
Way too heavy on the CPU and fires too many H-INT's, but it's too cool to throw out.
Maybe the interrupt sequence can be pre-canned?

Been playing some CV Belmont's Curse on the StramDeck the last two days.
Three hard crashes that have required resets and counting. Never had a game crash this much on the deck before.
You really need to fix this, @konami.
