During one of his Texas rallies on Tues. Trump bragged about getting oil from Venezuela. During his 2024 presidential campaign Trump repeatedly called Venezuelan oil garbage and tar and said refining it was especially bad for people in Houston, Texas.

So Stephen Miller, the architect of "zero tolerance" and relentless scrutiny for everyone else, apparently doesn't apply those standards to his own financial paperwork. Public Citizen detailed how 10 of his 27 stock sales don't reconcile, reported values are too low, and roughly $1.4 million from his children's custodial accounts vanished without explanation, along with his wife's IRA stocks. Yet, the Trump White House ethics office, which routinely weaponized "alleged errors" against political opponents and immigrants with "very serious consequences," simply waved away these "inconsistencies" as Miller being in "compliance." It’s the classic MAGA playbook: rules for thee, but never for me. They demand meticulous records from others while their own inner circle's finances look like a magic trick, with hundreds of thousands disappearing into thin air. Convenient, isn't it? commondreams.org/newswire/st…

The polling he is getting must be truly horrendous for the GOP.
My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will: 1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate. 2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority. 3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority. This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word. All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

Shameful that this guy in the United States, attending this meeting. There was a time when the international system was firmly against annexation. We all worked together to oust Saddam from Kuwait. Now look at us. Now look at Trump.
🤡 Lavrov spent more than 20 hours flying to the US for a G20 meeting — forced to avoid flying over "unfriendly" countries The Kremlin official stepped off the plane wearing jeans and a sweater. In Atlanta, Lavrov will attend a gathering of foreign ministers from the Group of Twenty (G20). The talks will serve as preparation for the G20 summit, scheduled to take place in Miami on December 14–15. The Russian delegation is expected to hold a series of bilateral talks in the coming hours, including with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Some kids came to the White House for Halloween wearing Russian pixel military uniforms, a Soviet military cap, and a Russian dress. Right now, these are genuinely the scariest costumes.

This is why Republicans will lose the mid-terms @EricLDaugh because we know how to fact check your lies! “What Actually Happened: Police officers intervened to break up a physical altercation outside the Shoemaker Center on the Ohio University Chillicothe campus. During the scuffle, the retention clip on a police officer's pocketknife accidentally caught onto one of the individuals' shirts.” “The Knife Did Not Open: Authorities confirmed that the pocketknife remained closed the entire time and no one was injured by a blade.”

15-year-olds Yana and Masha. 💔 Killed by a Russian missile strike on Chernihiv on today. The girls were 10th-grade students. They had their whole lives ahead of them. If only it weren't for Russia.

“Kushner told Zelensky that he should pause the strikes because he and U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff were dedicating a lot of time, energy, and jet fuel to mediating with Moscow, one of the U.S. officials said. A 30-day pause on refineries would be a way for Ukraine to show gratitude, that U.S. official said.” An almost comical thing to tell a nation fighting for its existence. Lay down your weapons because we are exhausted from taking a private jet. wsj.com/world/ukraine-pauses…

Trump is wholly without decency; a man who has chosen to leave upon this world no mark of kindness or dignity or benefit to humankind. His life is a sordid cautionary tale of avarice, selfishness, pride, abuse, and perversion. I can only pray we heed the moral of this tragic era.

These motherfuckers didn’t just screw over a Pope with cancer. The whole Oleshky story is a Putin information operation designed to save that old orange ass from electoral defeat. Guys, this needs to become an atomic bomb for the bastards in the White House. If you haven’t written about it yet, share this post. As many people as possible need to know this story. What I had previously only suspected on instinct has now been confirmed. It turns out that the absurd “Melania Trump ceasefire” in Oleshky was literally Putin’s idea. He personally “very much wanted” Melania to act as mediator, her senior adviser Mark Beckman told the Kyiv Independent. Well, you could have guessed that, and I did immediately. A person who can barely string two words together was hardly going to organize something like this better than the Pope. More than that, Putin sent her a special letter saying that Russia officially recognized Melania as its “exclusive intermediary.” Do you understand what that means? Russia has occupied Oleshky for four and a half years, blocked the city, prevented humanitarian aid from getting in, and driven the remaining residents into an acute shortage of food and medicine. And then Putin picks Trump’s wife as the person who will be allowed to “solve” the problem. And he does it right before the elections, when Trump’s collapsing ratings desperately need saving. Trump, the politician who is now effectively helping Putin force Ukraine into capitulation. The White House has already announced that it was Melania who “secured the ceasefire,” while four journalists from Newsmax, Trump’s pet TV network, have been sent to Oleshky as “neutral observers” to present the entire operation to an American audience in exactly the right light. You can bet your ass they won’t just advertise the orange ape as the greatest humanitarian genius in human history. They’ll advertise Putin right alongside him. John Foreman, the former British defense attaché in Moscow and Kyiv, is calling this exactly what it is: a deliberate Kremlin operation. “They know exactly what they’re doing.” According to him, allowing Melania to take credit for the ceasefire gives Russia a way to present the Trumps to the MAGA audience as peacemakers immediately before the midterms. In other words, Moscow first creates a humanitarian catastrophe, then allows the family of the U.S. president to stage a spectacular “rescue” of that catastrophe in order to save themselves from political disaster. Fuck, I genuinely don’t have enough words to express how unbelievably vile and disgusting this is. I’m choking on the hatred of it. They have turned one of the largest man-made humanitarian catastrophes of the 21st century into a fucking medal pinned to an orange ass.

A father screams in anguish beside the body of his dead daughter. Two 15-year-old girls were killed in a russian attack on the center of Chernihiv, Ukraine. Dozens are injured, including four children aged 10, 16, and 17, and a 10-month-old baby girl. Meanwhile, Trump has ordered Ukriane not to hit russian oil refineries, so that russia could make billions and build more rockets and drones to kill more Ukrainians.

If you told me two years ago that the US President would pressure American companies to buy fuel it doesn’t need from a Russian terrorist state still waging war in Europe, I would have said, so Trump gets reelected? What a humiliation.
NEWS: Trump admin officials want US companies to accept the Russian diesel currently crossing the Atlantic. But American firms want nothing to do with it. They’re very scared of the legal and reputational risk, industry sources tell me and @jstein_sun washingtonsun.com/whitehouse…
