The year is 2400. The race to decide the 117th President is heated. In a great GOP tradition, every time a Republican hears something they don't like from a Democrat, they yell "WHERE'S HUNTER" Nobody knows who Hunter is, or why he should be present, but the tradition endures

She could have personally gone to his house and encouraged him to run and it would not have been a crime. This story is being blown completely out of proportion and the only thing media coverage is doing at this point is sowing more confusion and interfering in the election.
BREAKING: Democratic Senate candidate Mary Peltola denies she knew anything about an effort to put another candidate on the Alaska ballot with the same name as incumbent Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan. The race is considered key to control of the U.S. Senate apnews.com/article/alaska-pe…

To be clear - THIS cycle, @Senate_Fund spent nearly $500k to secure a Green Party candidate who lives in AZ to run in AK. And in '24 AK GOP recruited a prisoner w/ no ties to AK and w/ a NY address to run against Peltola. The AK GOP took legal action to keep him on the ballot.
Peltola’s former campaign manager, fired this summer, goes on record to the NYTs to say that the Dems worked to get another Dan Sullivan on the ballot. ...And then subsequently tries to retract her statements. nytimes.com/2026/10/28/us/po…

Aaron Bernstine should resign from the House. Pennsylvania is better and bigger than this. Deeply grateful to the PA Building Trades leaders who stood up in real time, and for every single one of you who has since. We deserve better and we have to demand It.

You don’t actually need to apologize to Connor Lamb who ran his campaign like the centrist ghoul Fetterman is governing as. You do need to apologize to Malcolm Kenyatta.

Can I add to this? Because you see this in colleges, too. A lot of progressive communities have an anchor weight of the 5-10 percent of people who contribute nothing but criticism. Noire, in this story, is a perfect example of this. There's a real practical problem. The bar

Nobody in the "credentialed class" ever thought any American President could get the Strait of Hormuz opened. Dozens tried, yet they all failed: until now. Trump somehow did it. I never thought I'd live to see the day when the Strait of Hormuz was OPEN to movement of oil.
Every foreign policy genius who spent a decade collecting paychecks to tell us Iran was untouchable just watched a real estate developer from Queens reopen the waterway that moves a third of the world's oil. The credential class should be embarrassed into silence.

One day, Donald Trump will die, and his supporters will try to punish the people who say things like this.

The national round of gerrymandering was very publicly and loudly kicked off by Donald Trump ordering the Texas Republicans to do an extraordinary mid-decade redistricting to give him more House seats, thus heading off what was always likely to be a bloodbath in the midterm election. The Right's general political calculus was that the Democrats would cry about it but not retaliate. In fairness, that was a reasonable gamble to take. After all, Democrats have unilaterally disarmed from the redistricting arms race. New York gave up theirs. No California lawmaker has drawn an election map in 15 years. Democrats and their allies forced their own side to give up the power to draw election districts in many states (Colorado, Michigan, Washington) - most recently in Virginia in 2019. Then, the Democrats tried to pass national anti-gerrymandering reform in 2021. Every single Republican U.S. Senator opposed it, joined by Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema, so it failed. But the Republicans' gamble failed, because they did not grasp that just as Donald Trump has changed the Right's politics, it has changed the Left's as well. Ironically, Democrats will now probably fight the mid-decade redistricting to a draw, if not a little bit ahead. Partisan gerrymandering is a noxious and corrosive practice on our democracy. But if only one side is interested in ending it, and the other is willing to maximally deploy it for their own ends, then unilateral disarmament doesn't work. It's awful that Donald Trump and the Texas Republicans put the nation in this position. But we've probably now seen the end of state-based attempts at ending partisan gerrymandering. The only answer is a national ban. Many Democrats now believe that the only way to get a national ban is to make the GOP feel a real penalty to gerrymandering. We'll see if it works.
NEW: Virginia Dems’ proposed congressional map would almost surely torpedo four GOP seats, converting delegation from 6D-5R to 10D-1R this fall. Still faces several hurdles to passage.

JD Vance isn’t this stupid, so what he’s doing here is deliberate and evil. You don’t just need “some kind of warrant” to enter a home. You need a warrant from the judiciary. He knows this. He knows they’re breaking the law when they enter a home with an administrative warrant. He uses the phrase “administrative law judges” to mislead. An administrative warrant comes from DHS. They are writing their own “warrants,” which makes them no more valid under the Fourth Amendment than if a random person wrote on a piece of paper, “I can enter your house.”
JD Vance: "Nobody is talking about doing immigration enforcement without a warrant. We're talking about different types of warrants that exist in our system. Typically in the immigration system, those are handled by administrative law judges. So we're talking about getting warrants from them."

no one buys you fuckers being upset about stuff like this. You voted for a man who calls women pigs and says some of the most vile hateful things imaginable. And that's the entire point behind Newsom's media push, you're just too dumb to realize.
Beautiful response to such a vile dig.

Q: What did you mean last night when you said you were prepared to send 'more than the National Guard' into American cities? TRUMP: Sure, I'd do that. As you know I'm allowed to do that Q: Do you mean other branches of the military you'd send in? TRUMP: If it were -- who are you with? Q: The New York Times TRUMP: That's very good. Well, if you write it correctly, I'll give you the answer. But if I want to enact a certain act, I'm allowed to do it. I'd be allowed to do whatever I want. The courts wouldn't get involved. Nobody would get involved. And I could send the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines -- I could send anybody I wanted.

Imagine being a U.S. Senator and being so damn lazy that you don’t even bother to pick up the phone to ask school district officials if an anonymous Facebook post is true before blasting dangerous misinformation all over social media. What an embarassment.
An Ohio school district is correcting "misinformation" coming from the press office of US Sen. Bernie Moreno, who has been publicly accusing the school of allowing someone accused of possessing explicit pics of minors back to class. Not true, school says cleveland.com/lake-county/20…
