Aazaar Abdul-Rahim: "I am a D.C. native and proud of it, so it lmeans a little bit more to me to be standing in front of you as the interim head coach at the University of Maryland. "I don't see myself as just an interim. I see myself as a program-builder." "As far as I'm concerned, we're 0-0 right now ... We're excited to show the fans a better brand of football."

Really excited for him. Met him back when he was bringing some of his players to camp at UT many years ago. He really cared about his kids and was a great guy. Wishing him well.

We all know he's the man behind getting all the big name recruits so it's actually right that he's now the head man.

Kind of throwing his head coach under the bus, no?

This is one reason why I didn't want to fire Locks during the season. If he wins a couple game people will be wanting to hire him. No other school in the country would hire him. We shouldn't either. Time for a big hire by Smith.

“Better brand of football”. True, but a bit of an unintentional swipe at Lox.

We are an ACC town, so the Big 10 still does not do it for us.
