Tonight, my family and I experienced something no family should ever have to go through.
Our restaurant, Singh’s Dining Restaurant in Hammersmith, was attacked by a group of Islamists.
We had been receiving death threats every single day, including one that specifically warned us that 28 October would be our last day.
We raised our concerns, and the @metpoliceuk were aware of the threats. Yet tonight, we found ourselves facing the very nightmare we had feared.
My daughter had to close the shutters just in time. I cannot even begin to imagine what might have happened if she hadn’t acted so quickly. We could have lost someone in our family tonight.
The attackers reportedly tried for a long time to break through the shutters to get inside, leaving shortly before the police arrived.
We have serious concerns about how the attackers knew when to leave, and whether they were alerted before the police arrived. These concerns deserve a thorough and transparent investigation.
Tonight, I am left facing a heartbreaking decision, Do we keep our doors open and risk our lives, or do we shut down the business we have worked so hard to build because I don’t serve Halal food.
No family should ever have to choose between their livelihood and their safety. No one should have to live in fear in their own place of work.
I am angry. I am heartbroken. I am frightened for my family’s safety.
I am calling on the @metpoliceuk to take these threats seriously, investigate tonight’s attack thoroughly, and ensure that my family is protected.
Please share this post. Let our voices be heard. We should not have to wait for someone to lose their life before our safety is taken seriously.

🚨 New York resident says she was not asked for ID to vote, she tried to give ID to the election workers but they refused to take it
They gave her 2 ballots, which is very deceptive. One of the ballots was full of Democrat candidates, but she’s voting only Republican. Still, she was given this second ballot full of Democrats candidates
This is very deceptive because many people would assume you have to fill out both ballots they’re given and scan them in, she was told by election workers she needs to scan both ballots when she’s done
Many people likely wouldn’t scan in a blank ballot, so they’ll fill it out even though it’s only Democrats on the ballot
Counties in New York will give people multiple ballots to fill out, which can obviously be very confusing to voters. They easily end up with Democrats getting extra votes

One person, one data point. But the care was 10x better than anything I’ve had in France, for a price that’s completely fine.
France has a lot to learn.

Cuba's communist regime got a taste of the truth at the United Nations today, and they did not like it one bit. U.N. Ambassador Mike Waltz stood up during the General Assembly debate on the U.S. embargo and held up a photo of Fidel Castro wearing two Rolex watches worth about $40,000 in today's money. By the regime's own numbers, that's 55 years of an average Cuban's wages. Then he showed the current Cuban president, Miguel Díaz-Canel, wearing a Rolex too.
That's when Cuba's foreign minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, charged toward the podium in the middle of the speech, calling Waltz a liar. Waltz didn't flinch. He told him to back up and said he's not going to intimidate me in the United States of America like he tries to intimidate political prisoners. U.N. officials had to step in to restore order. Video obtained by the NY Post also shows another member of the Cuban delegation grabbing at the phone of Waltz's spokesman while he was recording the whole thing.
Think about that. These are the people the U.N. wants us to feel sorry for, and they showed the whole world exactly how they treat anyone who speaks the truth. The people of Cuba go hungry while their leaders wear gold watches. I'm proud we finally have an ambassador who won't back down. The U.N. votes this week on its yearly resolution condemning our embargo on Cuba, and after today, we'll see who's willing to stand with a regime like that.
