Trump is the oldest toddler there's ever been. The fact he's been elected President twice is a shocking indictment of the American people.

I disagree. Ignoring the things Pres Trump says and does normalises them. I think we need to remind ourselves regularly how different he is from ordinary politicians.

Three misleading claims. The TCA is comprehensive but offers far less integration than EU membership. Dublin transfers were net inward in 2019, but historically often net outward. And 6m Settlement Scheme beneficiaries aren’t 6m new arrivals: many had lived here for years.

There is a massive and ever-growing majority in favour of rejoining the EU. Each dot below represents an opinion poll taken by different pollsters over the last 6 years.

Gosh!
I call bullshit. You’ve spent the last 48 hours calling me a ‘traitor’ for not drawing attention to a leaked spreadsheet with our special forces and MI6 officers’ names on. But we’re meant to believe this tweet attacking me as a traitor for having a Jewish wife & family was liked ‘accidentally’ by ‘one of the team.’ You must think we’re all thick. No. The mask has slipped. Likes are private. You thought nobody would ever know. Unfortunately for you, the racist account who posted the tweet and could see the likes exposed you. Reform should give you the boot.

Tonight - Serbia feels like the new Hungary - over throwing of a Russia friendly / Putin sympathising leader for something genuinely new - in Serbias case a student led party . Does this shift dynamics in the war on Ukraine ? And with the shape of the EU?
I have just spoken by phone with the leaders of the Students' List @studentblokade, who won the elections in Serbia, to congratulate them on their victory. I assured them of Hungary’s support. I was delighted to hear how much strength our victory in April had given them during this difficult struggle.

I'm puzzled by Marco Rubio's role as Secretary of State. Why are Witkoff and Kushner taking the lead on major negotiations over war and peace, rather than America's chief diplomat?
.@McFaul and @Timodc rip into Marco Rubio for abandoning his support for Ukraine while the Trump administration attacks Zelensky: "They could be leaning in to try to fix it and not attacking the guy in the country that they’re supposedly trying to help."

Good morning and Happy Monday to everyone who agrees that Kamala Harris was absolutely 100% right about trump's intention to betray Ukraine, out of his weakness and his pathetic need to be accepted by Putin. His capitulation to Russia is a DISGRACE.

In the series of truly remarkable statements by Trump 🇺🇸 this ranks very high. He’s gone “full Putin”.

Imagine if in 1943 FDR had decided that the US would stop helping Britain and instead would side with the Third Reich. That's a bit like what President Trump is now doing by cozying up to Russia as it tries to destroy Ukraine. Utterly shameful. A humiliating moment for the US.

Her name was Angelina. She was one year old. Russian drone killed her and her mom in 🇺🇦 Kharkiv today. Congrats, Russia! You did it again! With help of those who left this baby defenseless.

It was an interesting and important speech by @SecRubio in Athens 🇬🇷. Much to agree with, but his view of the West was still a fairly narrow one. Strong men were hailed, but the Renaissance was totally absent. Some tributes to the contributions of the rest of the world wouldn’t have been inappropriate either.
