Proud to join the 2026 Annual Columbus Circle Wreath Laying Ceremony in New York City as we honor Italian American heritage, celebrate the contributions of generations of Americans, and recognize the enduring legacy of our communities. Heritage matters, and so does honoring the traditions that have helped shape New York.

I’m a Democrat. In 34 years of voting, I’ve never voted for a Republican. But this version of the Democratic Party has become dangerous, and I can’t pretend otherwise. If you’re eligible to vote in Michigan, I urge you to support Mike Rogers.

It's remarkable how a collapsed state like Somalia, one of the world’s most failed and least diverse countries, where virtually every girl undergoes FGM and women’s rights don’t exist, has exported so many women into Western politics to lecture us about racism and misogyny...

So it turns out the guy who likes trans kids, says God is non-binary, thinks there are 150 genders, and has a favorite drag queen is actually mentally ill. Shocking, I know.

🚨 BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: Ohio mental hospital CONFIRMS James Talarico was discharged from the facility earlier this week The “flu” thing was a BIG FAT LIE Following reporting by @SaraGonzalesTX and @CarolineWren, a hospital employee told @RheinAmacher and I that Talarico had in fact been a patient at the Lindner Center of Hope near Cincinnati, Ohio, which specializes in around-the-clock mental health treatment. While I sympathize with those dealing with mental health crises, this man is CLEARLY not suited to become a US Senator representing over 30 MILLION TEXANS. The job doesn’t get easier after being elected — it only gets MORE stressful. And Talarico clearly can’t handle it. I pray he gets the help he needs, but Texans need a real representative they can rely on.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Lindner Healing Center has refuted this They have made a statement that James Talarico has never received treatment at Lindner Healing Center x.com/lindnerctrhope…

🚨 IT'S OFFICIAL: James Talarico is unfit for office. I have never seen a Senate campaign hit the fan so hard and so fast. He needs to drop out immediately and apologize to Texas voters. KEN PAXTON MUST BE THE NEXT SENATOR FROM TEXAS.

What’s terrifying about this clip isn’t their ideals…these sweet gals’ hearts are certainly in the right place. What’s terrifying is they have the civic, political, and economic literacy of a 9 year old. When a charlatan like Abdul comes along with the Jr High class president schtick of “no more homework and the vending machines are all free!”, they fall for it. I don’t know how you get to that age with ZERO understanding of supply chains, manufacturing, labor costs…but a lot of folks think that medicine and MRIs and hospitals just materialize out of thin air like unicorn farts. They’ve never built anything in their lives, so they have no concept of how things function…things are just…there. They think milk comes from the store. They think rich people don’t pay taxes, even though the top 1% fund 40% of government with their taxes already, and yet 40% of all Americans contribute ZERO federal income tax at all. These people don’t understand that you could tax the wealthy at 100% and it would only fund the government for 120 days. Then you’re screwed. Too many Americans simply have zero understanding of how anything works, and even though they’re living in the easiest times in human history, they think things are “terrible out there”. These commie scammers roll through and promise them things that sound great, but aren’t possible in reality, and have devastating consequences if tried…but because they don’t know anything, they fall for it. Sadly, so many of our politicians and their advisors are such atrocious communicators, there’s like zero countervailing narrative to push back on the commie gobbledygook, so we are gonna have to learn the hard way. Guys…we just had a sample of socialism: Covid. We all got universal basic income, and it ended up tripling our costs and they’ll never go down. Ever. That one brief little experiment in command and control government will haunt us the rest of our lives. Bleak stuff, man.

Whether or not Talarico was in a mental institution or home sick with the flu the past two weeks is almost irrelevant. If you’ve worked on a major senate race and your candidate got sick in the home stretch you would immediately spring into action, start calling surrogates to come stand in for planned events, be aggressively pitching media oppo on your opponent, etc etc. But that isn’t what happened here. Not only did Talarico go dark for two weeks, so did his entire campaign. I’ve talked to tons of reporters who regularly cover the Texas Senate race and they all say the Talarico campaign is usually very responsive but they couldn’t reach ANYONE on the campaign for the past 7-10 days. My theory is the campaign went dark because nobody on the campaign had a damn clue where their candidate was or what the messaging was about his whereabouts and so they had no choice but to go completely dark.
