A factor of 36x between the high and the low-power values, and your backup system (fossils in the case of Germany) must be ready for the worst case at any and all times, so basically to substitute the totality of the wind turbines generation. Of course! Cheap prices are bad IF YOU EXPORT a product which YOU sell at ZERO € per unit... while few hours later, when the wind ends for a week-long period, you are forced to BUY ELECTRICITY AT UP TO 575 €/MWh. Is it so difficult to understand, this simple fact???😳😳

Because I have a bunch of "green" projects, especially wind, and in particular off-shore wind, which have sometimes 10 years of delays and approval times. Please, be serious: Desertec? Is it running already? The famous "the equivalent cost of one scoop of icecream per month to fund the Energiewende"? Is it a mission accomplished? The "energy island" with 3-10 GW of wind and in-situ green-H2 production, with equally troll DK, in the north sea? Where is it? Proposed 10 yrs ago, present status? How about the Energiewende? Still going on since 25 years, and yet Germany is at 340 gCO2/kWh, and among the highest electricity costs in the continent? Is this the "success" you want to improve?↙️↘️ C'mon! It's bordering masochism!😬

In 60 years at this rate there won't be anymore the Germany that you have today, don't you get it? Talk to you in 10 years, no need to wait for 60! No reliable energy=no industry, and with no industry there is no diffuse wealth, and with no diffuse wealth there is no future for Germany.
