Sacha Baron Cohen's Ali G sequel lasted one weekend in theaters, and the Hollywood Reporter is blaming pro-Palestine activists, and discussing "Hamas-affiliated operatives.”
THR detailed a campaign by UK-based NewsCord, whose platform gave users AI-assisted templates to email cinemas; NewsCord says about 55,000 emails went out. THR then pointed to the group's support for Gaza aid flotilla participants, whose leaders the US Treasury designated "Hamas-affiliated operatives." NewsCord, which calls Ali G a form of blackface, accused THR of drawing "conspiratorial links."
Amazon MGM opened the film on just 23 screens, withheld box office figures, and moved it to Prime Video five days later, per World of Reel.

You can’t really compare the number of complaints from a current series to one in the 2000s because of people being ragebaited into doing it by social media. You had to be reallyyyy about that life to complain to Ofcom in 2005

americans are so propagandized they believe your employer should fire you if you have cancer
European hiring rules are genuinely insane.
For example - if you own a company in the Netherlands and one of your employees gets sick, you are required to pay at least 70% of their wages for up to 2 years.
If they can't go back to work after 2 years and you haven't done enough for their reintegration, you pay their wages for 1 more year. And you can't fire them until after that extra year!
