I wish to demonstrate a physical network topology capable of distributing 1 billion BSV transactions per second, and generate the data to prove it, shared publicly. This is without transaction validation, at first. Teranode will catch up in time. @1BSVNET will be ready for it.
I am a completely self-taught engineer. I am not attached to any university or college, or professional engineering organization, or fraternity, or anything besides recreational sports clubs in the past. I hold expired industry certifications, and lots of professional experience.
It's perpetrated by and also happens to all people, and it's also on all people to learn how to recognize and defend against. Walking away and ignoring is the easiest path.
I'm still learning the "give precisely nothing" part. I've still got it to dish out when others turn dumb.
As a man, the more powerful you become, the more the spiritually sick will try to re-enact their father problems with you by uncharitably misinterpreting you and projecting their resentments onto you in their subconscious desire to humiliate their father through you. You are not a person to them, but a symbol of the authority they resent and thus wish to abuse. And it is not just women who will do this, but emotionally unstable and disordered men too. True light always rouses demons and draws parasites. You must give all such people precisely nothing.
I never thought I'd be saying this, given how much gear I've collected over the years, but I am now out of network switch ports.
You know what can stop Denial of Service, or Distributed DOS attacks? Requiring a tiny fee to be paid that has a state transition contract defined, which only moves one direction: forward. The data packets themselves are then tied to this state output, gated by configurable acceptance time, that anyone can verify quickly, globally.
Senders are then required to place proofs linking a valid ledger-borne state in the data packets themselves for them to be accepted by intermediate forwarding systems. No invalid packets get through. Evidence trail is established back to funder for every packet. Complete privacy enhancing integration through deterministically anchored addressing source/destination via IPv6 specification.
It won't stop all attacks, one could take over wallets and such to generate bad traffic with someone else's funding, but importantly this provides bounds. The funding will eventually run out. It's a lot harder than just operating a botnet. Chainalysis can yield more clues than were available before. Additional distributed, immutable logging can play a support role in the investigation process.
Downstream recipients have more to filter on to differentiate source attribution, and this can lead to better infrastructure defense posture. It forms a natural, built-in rate limiting function. All data must be valid, intact, hash-conforming, and verifiable through Merkle-tree traversal back to widely distributed information.
I'm working on this and similar ideas now. I've already proven UDP and TCP/IP transmission end-to-end. I now have SPV verification working in under 1 millisecond. That's cheap enough to be run by every router, every system.
The future is looking amazing.
A log is only as trustworthy as whoever holds it. blogs gives it a witness nobody controls: signed, numbered batches to every archive at once, and one small mined anchor that lets anyone prove a copy complete.

Sharing for clarity: BREAD (from @cryptorebel_SV) and BEEF are both SPV transaction formats. Each check Merkle paths against your own copy of the block headers.
They differ in how they deal with unconfirmed txs. BREAD reports hops to a proven ancestor. BEEF carries the raw tx chain so each spend can be validated.
Neither rules out a double spend. Broadcasting to miners on receipt does.
Both useful. Each designed to focus on slightly different use cases.
Definitely this. Focus on the bigger mission, and the tech and stick to honest communication. Bitcoin is honest. Be like Bitcoin (BSV Blockchain).

BRC-100 is useful. Electrum is useful. Simplified Payment Verification is useful. Different arrangements of wallets, servers, indexes, proofs, applications and specialist services can be useful. There is no obligation to pretend that they solve identical problems, carry identical risks or perform equally well. There is, however, every reason to let people build them, compare them and discover what actually works.
The problem begins when a recommendation acquires the manners of a commandment.

The original Bitcoin was highjacked by the same vipers that highjacked the money system and created Fractional Reserve Banking to enslave us all?
...they changed the structure of a truly decentralised financial system and pumped its value so millions would follow their greed to become rich whilst missing the point completely about the power of peer-to-peer micropayments made possible for everyone across borders and with zero third party/middleman interference?
...they then used this restricted version of this idea to fund horrendous child trafficking, arms deals, porn, snuff movies, assassinations, murder writ large, large scale corruption, and even worse?
...they employed military-grade propaganda and MK-Ultra techniques to keep the general population off the scent of what they were doing by creating an army of pseudo-rich cult members to defend them with complete and utter plausible deniability?
...they then outed the man they knew they created this incredible idea so that he was forced into an impossible situation of being public and having to defend himself from a position he never wanted to be in, instead of remaining anonymous because he understood that by being so, the idea could actually work, in order to discredit him so the vipers could control the whole narrative and use it for their own advantage?
...the fact that the Satoshi Vision of Bitcoin destroyed their trillions of revenue from endless micro-charges, if it destroyed their idea of enslavement via taxes, if it ended their centuries of hidden corruption..?
