Here's a thread on
@TheGreenParty 's proposal for legalising drugs -a very sensible step by step approach. Regarding date rape drugs If a rapist is intent on rape they find a way- some just take a drug themselves to make the drug an excuse for it. nitter.cf/TurnLeftMediaUK/statusβ¦
So what do the Greens actually want to do with their decriminalisation of drugs? What would the system look like? Hopefully this thread will clear up your questions. There is a short term and long term answer to the Greenβs drug policy: π§΅

Water companies produce the worst set of pollution records ever.
I have distinct recollection of sitting in a school gymnasium in 2022 listening to the then newly appointed chairman of the @EnvAgency Alan Lovell, arrogantly and boastfully telling everyone how he was going to fix the water industry.
How's that one working out Alan?

This is a big deal - The first time England has had a severe drought in modern history - 100 years. Itβs another aspect of the failure of water privatisation - private companies, mostly foreign owned and based, are not capable of providing the water service (and sewage) that we need, thatβs abundantly clear.
We need a change of approach.
Thatcher was wrong, the private sector does not do it best in all cases - defo not in a monopoly on a vital national service.
Time to take back control of our water. Not ownership necessarily (unless they fail) - just control.

Anti- Zionism is now a protected belief under UK law.
Anti-Zionism is NOT Anti-Semitism.
Zionism is an evil racist ideology - & like Nazism - those slaughtered in its name are victims of racism.
Anti-Zionism is everyone's duty as a human being.

Zack Polanski is the reason we have Andy Burnham, and Greens are putting the pressure on to make sure this government serves people and planet.
Electing Zack tomorrow will send a message to Labour that they must take bold action on the climate crisis and inequality now.

Polanski getting north of 25% in Holborn and St Pancras would be the floor.
Anything above 30% would be impressive.
But I get a strange feeling....he'll do much better than the legacy media seem to presume. By-elections are unique and unpredictable...
