This is very important and please support if you can. GLP are bringing a legal challenge against the adoption of the problematic Bell review about antisemitism in schools, and, in particular, Lucy Powell's announcement that she will write to all schools setting out her "expectation" that they adopt the flawed IHRA Working Definition of antisemitism that will aggressively chill speech on Israel in schools
We live in a bizarre world where a Labour government enacts laws that force universities to host far right racists – but stops young people from advancing legitimate criticisms of a country engaged in genocide. We believe students and teachers must be free to debate, question and criticise the actions of the Israeli government, so we're preparing a legal case against this government's new antisemitism guidance. Support the legal case 👇 goodlaw.social/yzyl

Having now listened to the Adrian Ramsey interview, the main I took from it was what a crashingly bad interviewer Laura Kuenssberg is - unable to ask an interesting question or get anything g worthwhile out of her guest because she is too busy pursuing her own agenda.

She got absolutely everything she wanted from that interview. It's naive in the extreme to believe that Kuensberg & the BBC are engaged in a disinterested exercise in discovering the truth. They are constructing a truth that sustains the status quo. Stategically, the Greens should be using high-profile interviews like this to disrupt, expose, question and unsettle the status quo; to express and highlight the multiple contradictions of our absurd moment. This interview did the opposite, casting rupture as "divisive" and anathema to "core" Green values, and giving the manufacturers of the status quo tools to undermine a new politics. Ramsay was either foolish or disingenuous if he believed it was a neutral forum to begin a discussion, as his answers gave them everything they needed to shout about entryism, Polanksi's "divisive politics", hard-left scaremongering and the threat of a future leadership challenge. He either knew what he was doing or he is a staggering naif. Either way, unless his intention is to beat down the membership through media pressure, this intervention will do nothing to help the Party navigate a tough moment, and only helps those forces that want to put the Greens back in their box. It means the Greens are having an internal fight online today instead of preparing to raise hell about Mahmood's new immigration plans today. My sense, btw, is that those who are sympathetic to Polanski should politely acknowledge Ramsay's concerns and move on. There's no need to rise to provocation..This isn't the Labour Party. There isn't a bureaucracy and nevertheless structure that means he can do anything more than carp. It will only help the right wing media if people call for him to be expelled or worse, as they will report on the cruel violence of the Green hard-left.

My last post on the Russell Brand trial reached nearly a million people, and my replies were immediately flooded with defenders insisting this was all just a coordinated establishment hit job. Well, week three just concluded at Southwark Crown Court, and the reality has gotten so much worse for anyone trying to defend him. For the last three years, Brand hid behind a podcast microphone, carefully rebranding himself as a humble, persecuted spiritual outsider. He even got baptized right after the criminal allegations broke to complete the transformation. Then he actually had to take the witness stand under oath, and the entire manufactured persona collapsed in real time. When questioned by his own barrister, Brand put on a loud theatrical performance, throwing around words like "badinage" and "loquacious" to charm the jury. But the moment the prosecution stood up to cross-examine him, the swagger completely evaporated into long, excruciating spells of dead silence. The prosecution didn't even need outside witnesses to tear him apart. They simply opened his own 2007 memoir and read his own confessions back to his face. Jurors had to sit there while the court read passages where Brand explicitly wrote that when he wanted a woman, he would "resolutely remove anything that’s in the way, until I possess the object of my desire." They read his own captions bragging about pretending to be effeminate specifically so women would lower their guard and let him into their hotel rooms. Think about that for ten seconds. He put the playbook in writing himself. As the prosecution pointed out in their closing speech, the jury isn't dealing with a media conspiracy. They are looking at six separate women spanning a ten-year timeline between 1999 and 2009. They didn't know each other. They have no personal or financial benefit to gain, and endless online abuse to endure, by having to sit in a criminal court to describe being assaulted. You can build an army of online defenders and hide behind sudden spiritual conversions all you want. But when your own published books describe treating women as objects to be possessed at any cost, the enlightened guru act is completely finished.

May those who live, work or holiday on top of this have nightmares about what lies beneath them. May they imagine the cries of the dying and may it keep them awake at night.
The Gaza Strip, Israel are bulldozing it, pouring sand over all the bodies then building on top of it. While the world does nothing.

The Israeli elections disprove those who criticise the new policy of the UK Greens that Zionism is Racism based on the wishy washy liberal notion that the word “Zionism” is vague or “means different things to different people.” Simply untrue. Opposition leader and unindicted war criminal Gadi Eisenkot has ruled out working with Palestinian-led parties elected to Knesset because they would not meet his conditions of what he calls a “Zionist government.” Moldovan settler and far-right former minister Avigdor Lieberman similarly ruled out working with the Arab parties as he said he would only join an anti-Netanyahu coalition which consists of “only of Zionist parties.” Zionism is a VERY SPECIFIC, concrete and uncontested ideology — Zionism is settler-colonialism and Jewish supremacy. The only people who want to claims otherwise are a) liberal cowards or (mainly) b) gaslighting Zionists who know exactly how unpopular Zionism and simply want to prohibit opposition to Zionism so try to muddy the water with nonsense ideas about this murderous racist ideology being an “identity” rather than the insidious political ideology that it truly is. Zionism’s is racism. Always has been and always will be.

Under French law, AY Audits and his gimps are looking at 2 years banged up and a 30k Euro fine for carrying prohibited weapons. Plus another possible charge for threatening behaviour. Perhaps the French judiciary will throw the book at these fighting aged males to deter others.

We've waited patiently for a plan to end neoliberalism. We won't wait anymore. We need rent controls We need a wealth tax We need *serious* cuts to energy bills Instead it's a few pence off gherkins & a payout which the experts say won't touch the sides on energy bills.

British life and Jewish life are NOT Zionist life. You're doing the antisemitism thing again. Genocider.
Jewish life is British life, and we must never allow antisemitic hatred to become normalised in our society. At yesterday’s antisemitism conference with @antisempolicy my message was clear: tackling antisemitism is a responsibility for all of us, and Jewish communities will not be left to carry that burden alone. 📸 Blake Ezra

Today Andy Burnham made a gift of £1000 from every Brit to Ukraine while giving us £30 off our standing charge - but not yet and certainly not before the profiteering energy companies rack bills up by another 27% in January. Are we going to be this fucking stupid for ever?

Liverpool fans and Liverpool football club have to be grateful to Richard Hughes for Rio, Trey and Jacquet. A Journo reported that when Slot asked for Diaz replacement, Hughes asked him to temporarily make do with Rio and Gakpo, the reason why Slot kept playing Gakpo regardless of form and shape — perharps to make a statement. This move alone after 6 months have saved Liverpool a £100m. Maybe if we signed a winger then, the path for 16 year old Rio into the team would have been different and he’d probably have gone elsewhere to take the next step. When Jones was asking for more respect and more money, He stalled on his contract and again, fingers were pointed to a replacement in the team, Trey Nyoni, even when fans made a great deal about replacing Jones directly from the market. Konate was reported to be asking for a wage around €300k per week, Hughes didn’t think he deserved it, he looked at the prospect of Leoni and Jacquet and thought, whatever Konate could do, these do could do too if not better. As usual, the fans made a whole lot of noise but his departure has been a big blessing to us. Jacquet is here! While Hughes was spending big, He did it on young players…world class players whom he thought will be the stars of Liverpool for years to come but he also always had a clear plan for development and integration of young players into the team alongside the big signings. Remember that players development was one of the factors considered when Slot was hired, Slot didn’t do so much in that department but then Iraola is here, inside a pool of endless quality and world class talents of young players in the club as never been seen before at a time in ages. If a year from now, we will fully begin to realize and appreciate Richard Hughes for the job he did at Liverpool. He is one of the best Sporting Directors that has been in English football in the past decade and I am glad, I saw it and always supported him. Time… Time will always tell.

Russell Brand is a product. He was never a stand up in the sense of being a touring comic working the clubs. He was brought into existence by the media and declared to be a comedian. His image as a sleaze bag and a "shagger" was not only known about it was one of the selling points of Russell Brand the TV and film star. The hacks who promoted him knew very well that there were allegations about him for decades and chose to ignore them. When Brand underwent an image change and declared himself to be some sort of anarchist the BBC heavily promoted this. They gave him a platform to spout his barely coherent pseudo hippy gibberish and even gave him a big interview on newsnight back when that meant something. So when Brand was committing the sex offences he is accused of the majority of the press was either silent or were actively promoting him.

Where money flows, some sticks… It’s one gigantic insiders club, and the ordinary taxpayer is funding it On average, EACH UK TAXPAYER is funding Ukraine to the tune of £245 per fucking year Do you think if everyone realised, it would be a vote-winner?
