The number of people believing and amplifying demonstrably false disinformation, whether intended as humour, satire, or otherwise, about former party leaders is a huge indictment of our current information landscape and how people consume it.

Regardless of your political affiliation, where you live, or whether you believe Canada needs electoral reform, the so-called “longest ballot initiative” is shameful and undermines our democratic process. The sooner Parliament legislates to fix this, the better.

As former caucus chair, fascinated by notion that LPC MPs are exceptionally receiving an hour. Generally, we allowed MPs at least hour to raise issues on weekly basis + during a crisis scheduled meetings (which should have been done by LPC in June). (via: politico.com/newsletters/ott…)

1967. Stanley Cup Semi-Final. Last year of the "Original 6" era. Jean Beliveau and his reach are proving difficult to contain for Earl Ingarfield of the Rangers as a streaking Yvan Cournoyer gives Le Gros Bill options.
