Kenya consumes about 12.5m litres of milk and produces 15.1m daily, per Kenya Dairy Board. Affordable Housing employed 490,100 in 2025 (KNBS). At 6% growth in construction sector p.a the number in 2026 should be around 520,000. Ignore the politics. Assuming EVERY worker decides to take an EXTRA litre of milk, that'll be a 4% increase in demand. NB, that's two packets per worker. Price has gone from ksh60 to ksh80, a 33% increase. Can a marginal 4% increase in demand create a 33% increase in prices? In a country where we produce more than we consume, unlikely. If it did, That'll mean milk production and supply in Kenya is so inelastic. In simple terms; there is shortage of milk. Someone is doing voodoo economics, and its not Kenyans. Mnatuona vizuri. Wantam! – at Athi River, Kenya
If we had explained the same thing in the language of demand, supply and income elasticity, none of you would be commenting. That is why you still go to witchdoctors because you prefer the comfort of mumbo jumbo than confronting facts that challenge your false beliefs.

We have a problem in this country, what do you mean an alien comes to our country and starts setting standards, in Kenya finding a guy working in a Salon or a female barber is totally normal, if you people are having a problem, you're free to move back to your shit hole of a country and do things the right way, stop telling Kenyans how you want them to do their live. I see Kenya having a huge cultural conflict in the next couple of years because of this people.

The World Bank says Kenya spends about 10% of its GDP, roughly Sh1.6 trillion, on public procurement annually. However, in FY2024/25, only Sh410 billion had some procurement information published. (This means about Sh1.2 trillion lacked published procurement information).

You've avoided nearly all of my questions, Norah, because you're literally incapable of answering them. Your mind is firmly closed to any evidence or facts that undermine your preferred narrative. You consider it immoral for anyone to even question you, even though you voluntarily and confidently entered this discussion. You're like a flat-earther. Nothing I or anyone else says to you will permeate your stubborn quasi-religious beliefs, because to change your mind would take away a core part of your self image, which is as somebody who is kinder and better and more righteous than the nasty people still advocating for the safety of women and girls. You repeat your thought-terminating clichés and unevidenced assertions, which I assume sound clever inside your echo chamber, but which, outside it, make you appear not only dim, but a total moral vacuum. Increased risk to females? Who cares. Women threatened by violence? Of course those poor trans-identified men lash out when they meet resistance! What is a gender identity? You can't really say, but like the flat-earther, you're sure it exists, because your tribe is held together by belief in it, and pride themselves on their blind faith in it. I keep waiting for a single gender ideologue or trans activist to truly engage with the facts, but all of you sheer away from them like horses from fireworks. It truly is like talking to cult members who're incapable of engaging in rational debate and just keep chanting the mantras, consigning all serious questions to the 'evil' bin. I've been told I'm on the wrong side of history thousands of times. By debating people like you, I've come to realise that your ilk's idea of the 'right side of history' means stripping women and girls' of their rights, excusing male violence against women, siding with those issuing death and rape threats and attempting to suppress critical thought and freedom of speech. Maybe, like the flat-earthers, you genuinely think history will vindicate you. I believe people will look back on this period and analyse your arguments, not because they admire them, but because they're trying to fathom how so many supposedly intelligent people fell, hook, line and sinker for a bunch of vacuous, post-modern, pseudo-intellectual cobblers, while being completely indifferent to the real world harm they were enabling.

It's embarrassing watching Americans who think they won but have just broken their government to spite one man. Shallow thinking at its finest. What these midterms simply mean is that the people who hate borders are back in Washington. The people who sympathize with terrorists and jihadists are back. Every anti-American who wishes death on America is having a wild celebration today. This is not a Donald Trump loss; it is a catastrophic loss for the USA. Uninformed people are a crazy, shallow-minded bunch. Trump Derangement Syndrome is so clear. They are celebrating, but none of them can actually comprehend what Trump wanted to achieve for the USA. It is understandable for Islamists and foreign enemies who hate America to cheer this on, but it is pure foolishness for Americans. Trump is the lifeline of the USA. Trump remains President, but he is walking into a complete trap with a hostile Congress. He cannot pass a single law or bill because the opposition will block everything out of pure spite. His hands are tied on appointing judges and cabinet officials because the Senate will block his picks, and he won't be able to close big foreign trade deals or secure funding because he needs their approval for everything. An electorate voted to paralyze its own country just to stick it to one guy. Peak emotional instability.

OK let’s imagine that! $500M would fund Medicare for exactly 4 hours. Hospital closed by lunch. Medicare costs us $1.2T a year. Thats $2.7B per day. You people literally have no clue how anything works. You elect people who are financially illiterate, and everything gets worse.
Imagine if Elon's $500 million had been spent on education or healthcare. Or the arts. Anything.

Republicans were handed a trifecta and a mandate in 2024, yet Congress, specifically the Senate, did nothing but undermine President Trump and leave him to govern via temporary executive orders that ended up in protracted legal battles with activist judges that were never held to account. John Thune allowed over 100 critical House-passed bills to die in the Senate because he refused to nuke the filibuster, something every Democrat has said they’ll do if they take back control. Republican voters begged for 2 years to get any type of election integrity legislation passed, and John Thune refused. Chuck Grassley refused to get rid of blue slips to get all of Trump’s judicial nominees confirmed, but had plenty of time to upload videos of himself at Dairy Queen. Less than 20% of Trump’s EO’s were codified into law. This was the LEAST productive Congress in history, taking 364 days off. Why would Republican voters feel inspired to go out and vote for people who literally do nothing with the power given to them?

Ron DeSantis just SNAPPED at Republicans for doing nothing with the majority: "I saw no indication that Republican Senators were interested in doing conservative change. Why haven't we done immigration, shut off H-1B visas? Why haven't we codified Trump's immigration executive orders? Why haven't we stripped jurisdiction from the federal courts over deportation cases? There's so many things we could have done." It was a betrayal and voters responded.

No. You didn’t. You are absolutely 100% wrong. You did nothing of the sort. @NRSC Senate Republicans under YOUR “leadership” did nothing. Nothing. You had the chance to begin the process of saving our election system from the radical left. By passing the SAVE America Act. But K Street either didn’t care or opposed it. So why bother, right? Because the GOP Senate only does what can be monetized via those endless lobbyist dinners / fundraisers. If it can’t raise you money? Probably not worth doing. And you BERATED @BasedMikeLee for trying to get you to work full weeks, to try to pass the SAVE America Act. Or to work a weekend sometime. Or not to recess for weeks in March and then again recess for a month in August. You and your fellow GOP Senators told him that nobody cared about the SAVE America Act. That he needed to sit down and shut up. And the American people watched you, day after lazy, do-nothing day. And how you literally could not come up with a single idea to manage the Senate rules to get the bill passed. You just could not figure it out. Because you really didn’t and don’t care. And because you just are clueless. What’s all the fuss, you say. It’s not a big deal to you that our election system has been taken over and manipulated by the left. That aliens by the hundreds of thousands are on our voter rolls, that there are illegal votes by the thousands in the election results…and that it matters. It matters to the USA. But not to you @LeaderJohnThune So now, you don’t have to worry about it. You don’t have to be in charge of producing meaningful results for the American people. They just sent you to your room without any supper. I’m sure you must be relieved. You and your fellow GOP colleagues who just flat couldn’t be bothered to figure out how to save our elections. Well done, you. What a waste of space you’ve been as a leader. That term should never be applied to you or to your inner circle. Utterly disgusted by the lot of you. You did this. Tuesday was the Thune election. You own it. Hope you’re happy. @EIwatchdogs @seanmdav @EricLDaugh @elonmusk @realDonaldTrump @Bannons_WarRoom @greg_price11 @RealAmVoice

One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up. So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us." Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026. There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true. But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone. Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were: 1) End the war 2) Focus on cost of living/inflation 3) Put America First 4) Change our relationship to Israel Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.) In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you. The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night. If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest. But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there. I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

Our Constitution envisages an Independent Police Service and an Inspector General who is responsible for the enforcement of law and order without direction from anyone. Thats why our Courts require the IG to be the one to produce people who have been lawfully arrested. Unfortunately this system can’t work where the regime sets up parallel police squads away from the IG’s command. This is exactly why LMM insists on Constitutionalism and the Rule of Law. I will not be surprised if the IG shows up and tells the court, just like he did in the Twaha Mwaipaya case, that he doesn’t know where lawyer Abshar Abdi is. #LindaKatiba
