I am completely non-religious. But I still think that one thing we have to do, after this election, is figure out how to better educate people as to which voices they hear likely belong to God, and which ones likely belong to Satan.
He will beat Ted Budd in '28 and who knows where that will take him...
He's fabulous. I had the privilege of meeting him earlier this year and he's as good a human as he is AG.
Breaking: We just won a big case for NC.
A new federal rule threatened health insurance for 60,000 of the sickest people in North Carolina - people with cancer, Parkinson’s, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, and other serious illnesses.
Here's how:
When Congress enacted new Medicaid work requirements, it specifically protected the sickest people. Congress didn’t want them losing their insurance while battling a serious illness.
But then the agency that runs Medicaid decided to ignore Congress and make it much harder to qualify for that protection. They basically put up a bunch of red tape for our sickest people and told them to figure it out or they’d lose their insurance.
So we sued, arguing that Congress created that protection and this agency doesn’t get to overrule Congress.
And we just won - the judge ruled for us without even needing a trial. That’s as early a win as we could hope for.
This is a big deal for tens of thousands of NC families who could have been financially devastated by sudden, enormous medical bills.
When we filed, I told people battling serious illnesses to focus on getting better and let us handle the legal fight.
Today, we won that fight. I hope that brings some peace of mind to families who already have more than enough on their plate.
THIS..
On Newsmax this AM, James Comer said: "Unfortunately, there are more Democrats voting than normally vote and less Republicans. So, we have a turnout problem."
No James. Plenty of voters that voted Republican ARE turning out. They're just not your voters anymore. In fact, they would like you to f*ck off.

I had Annie Andrews on my show a few months back, and it was one of the best interviews I’ve done with a candidate all cycle. She’d make a phenomenal senator, and she’d be so much better than Lindsey Graham’s idiot sister.

🛰 Great news! Ukraine has launched its first satellite for its own communications network
Himera, together with Denmark's GomSpace, has launched the Obria Nano satellite into orbit.
With its help, Ukraine will be able to develop its own communications infrastructure, relying less on foreign satellite systems.
The first test satellite of Ukraine's future sovereign satellite communications network is already undergoing testing.

Annie Andrews on Trump's recent comments regarding her: "If calling me names will lower our gas prices and our grocery prices and keep our rural hospitals open, he can call me all the names that he wants. But that's not going to get the job done. And comments about taking my medical license away from the man who doesn't know how to pronounce 'acetaminophen.' I'm not going to take that seriously."

To their credit, the Founding Fathers always knew a king-like tyrant would one day try to rule as personal dictator and use the powers of the presidency to live above the law.
But they never foresaw an entire branch of government, consisting of hundreds of legislators, abdicating oath in favor of partisan complicity and grift, and they certainly never foresaw algorithmic media producing a citizenry where so many are manipulated by obvious deceit.

This is a coup attempt. They’re turning off traffic lights and canceling bus routes and flights and ferries on election day. The world needs to be paying attention
THIS a 1000x...
Honest question: why don't these guys - frustrated, middle-aged Yankee transplants who want to LARP as southern MAGAs - move to a genuinely conservative community, like Wilkes or Columbus county?
We all know why, of course: it's because they want the cultural amenities and economic opportunities that come with a bright-blue metro area like Charlotte. Their revealed preference is that they want a Target, Wegman's, museums and malls nearby more than true cultural conservatism.
Which is fine! It's a free country. Live where you want - just be honest with yourself about why.

Well, that’s enough Twittering for this morning.
1) Trump threatens the care of our Lejune Marines.
2) Tillis is mad he helped make a monster whose people are monstering.
3) Troxler endorses new Axis of Evil proxy candidate.
