He betrayed Atiku Abubakar in 2023, the same man who played a significant role in his emergence in 2019 and funded part of his election day expenses. He betrayed the coalition in 2019, a coalition of political veterans who sacrificed their personal ambitions to work for his emergence. Their decision came at a cost, not only to them but also to several down ballot candidates who were affected by the political arrangement. He betrayed Governor Ademola Adeleke in 2022. Despite the support Imole gave him in 2019, he went into the Adeleke family and backed a family member against Imole. What a remarkable display of political ingratitude. He betrayed Senator Hosea Agboola, a man who was instrumental to the PDP's popularity in Oke Ogun. He went as far as empowering political actors to challenge Halleluyah's authority in the region. They messed the easy going politician. He betrayed Engr. Rauf Olaniyan, his running mate in 2019. After benefiting from their joint political journey, he influenced the Oyo State House of Assembly to impeach the very man who served as his deputy. He betrayed Chief Bisi Ilaka and Engr. Joseph Tegbe. He sacrificed their political ambitions on the altar of his personal ambition, only to leave them out in the cold afterwards. What a pity. He betrayed Mukaila Lamidi Auxiliary. After using Auxiliary and his boys to intimidate and attack APC loyalists in the build up to the 2023 elections, he turned around and abandoned him to face the consequences, including sending him to Agodi. He betrayed Oriyomi Hamzat. This was a man who openly and passionately campaigned for his re-election in 2023. Yet, after victory was secured, Oriyomi suddenly became a political liability. He betrayed Engr. Dotun Sanusi. In both the 2019 and 2023 elections, Ilaji was instrumental to his political success. Just days before the 2023 election, after failing to honour an earlier commitment, he approached Ilaji privately to seek his support. Ilaji accepted his apology and worked for his re-election. But once victory came, the same Ilaji was discarded. He betrayed the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland and the entire Muslim community. Ahead of the 2023 election, he reportedly entered into an understanding with Muslim leaders that power would be handed over to a Muslim in 2027 if they supported him against another Muslim candidate in 2023. They trusted his words. Today, they are wondering what manner of man he is. He betrayed Adeniyi Rotimi Johnson, a loyal supporter dating back to their days in the SDP. After securing victory, he turned his back on a man who had stood by him and shut him out of his administration. Completely. He betrayed Theo Abu Agada. How? Story for another day. But Theo will never forgive him for running against his candidate after the inglorious Ibadan declaration. His supporters call him MAMBA. Who exactly is this MAMBA?

GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO’S ADMINISTRATION RECORDS NOTABLE GAINS IN BUDGIT’S 2026 STATE OF STATES REPORT The 2026 State of States Report by BudgIT, one of Nigeria’s leading independent civic organisations promoting fiscal transparency and accountability, highlights significant progress in Niger State’s public finances under the administration of His Excellency, Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago. The report, which assesses the 2025 financial year, identifies six notable achievements: 1. Internally Generated Revenue Grew by 91.49% Niger State’s IGR increased from ₦34.66 billion in 2024 to ₦66.37 billion in 2025, reflecting significant improvements in revenue mobilisation and the state’s capacity to finance development. 2. ₦451.12 Billion Invested in Capital Expenditure Nearly 70% of total government expenditure went into capital investments, with capital spending increasing by 28.95% compared with 2024. This reflects the administration’s emphasis on infrastructure and long-term development. 3. Among Nigeria’s Top 10 States in Fiscal Viability Niger State placed 9th nationally, with a fiscal viability score of 76.03, demonstrating its comparatively strong capacity to manage recurrent expenditure and financial obligations within available revenue. 4. Strong Debt Sustainability Performance Niger State placed 13th out of 35 states in debt sustainability, scoring 70.74. This reflects a comparatively favourable debt sustainability position, particularly in the context of the administration’s substantial capital investment programme. 5. Over 7,000 New Civil Service Recruitments The report records 7,109 new employees recruited in 2025, reflecting the administration’s expansion of public sector employment opportunities and investment in strengthening public service delivery. 6. Progress in Digital Revenue Administration The report acknowledges Niger State’s efforts to modernise tax administration through digital systems, strengthening revenue collection and public financial management. THE NEW NIGER AGENDA: PROGRESS BACKED BY FIGURES As Niger State approaches 2027, these independently reported figures provide measurable evidence of developments under Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago’s administration. From revenue growth and capital investment to fiscal management and employment creation, the record provides a basis for assessing the implementation of the New Niger Agenda. The Chief Technology Officer, @nnpclimited, Mr. Joseph Samali said energy companies must treat the cyber risks of artificial intelligence as business risks requiring clear governance and accountability, as the wider use of AI in oil and gas operations exposes the industry to new forms of attack. Speaking at an executive session titled “Cyber resilience: defending AI-enabled energy systems against evolving threats” on the final day of the 2026 @ADIPECOfficial, Samali observed that information technology and operational technology have been brought together at the technical level in many companies, while the structures, governance and accountability required to secure them have not kept pace. The session was moderated by Mr. Luis Parrondo, Managing Director, Accenture. It also featured Mr. Wassim Ghadban, Global Senior Vice President, AI and Digital Engineering, Kent, and Mr. Dev Singh, Vice President and Global Head of Energy and Resources and Managing Director, Qualcomm UAE. #ADIPEC2026 #EnergyForToday #EnergyForTomorrow

“I have spearheaded the budgeting of Kwara state for the past 7years. In and out, we know every sector. I am not a novice. I know the problems in urban and rural areas and I know how to solve them, because aside being in a productive government, I grew up in rural areas and stayed in urban areas.” - Kwara APC Guber candidate Rt. The Executive Vice President, Downstream, @nnpclimited, Dr. Mumuni Dagazau said decarbonisation of downstream operations must be practical, commercially viable and built into everyday management of assets and projects, as refiners and fuel suppliers worldwide work to cut emissions while maintaining reliable energy supply. Dr. Dagazau asserted while co-chairing the Downstream Technical Session with Mr. Ashraf Abufaris, Head of Gas Treatment, Middle East and Central Asia, BASF, titled "Delivering practical pathways to decarbonise downstream operations” at the ongoing 2026 Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC). The session featured presentations from OQ Alternative Energy, Mitsubishi Power, Kent, Petrojet and McDermott on refinery energy use, grid stability, routine flaring, carbon competitiveness and carbon considerations in project execution. 4th November, 2026 #ADIPEC2026 #EnergyForToday #EnergyForTomorrow

“The primary school in my hometown, Gwanara which I attended, was founded by my father. He came to establish it at a time nobody wants to stay and work back home, he chose to relocate to Gwanara to start the school. That school today, has produced Professors, military generals, doctors among others. When I came onboard as the Speaker, the school was in a bad state and I am glad I facilitated the complete remodeling of the primary school with ICT facilities installed.” - Kwara APC gubernatorial candidate, Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu Danladi (SYD) at the ongoing engagement with Journalists at the Kwara state NUJ Correspondents Chapel, Ilorin.
