Fun Fact - I know my drawing below does not look that crazy, but it was by far the most technically difficult drawing I have completed. This is one non-intersecting line. I drew it with a pen. I wanted to share it. #singlelineart #loop

Bike Lanes Are White Lanes seems like a great book. I just ordered one! It’s about the racist impacts of urban planning for bike infrastructure, and how affluent white bike bros turned something seemingly good into a weapon for gentrification and displacement. The author is even a cyclist who supports bike infrastructure.

Interviewer: do you think we should build more housing? Becerra: housing. wow. i never considered housing. ask me again later
We asked Xavier Becerra if he identifies as a NIMBY or a YIMBY and I am still dying over his answer. Great interview by @SophiaBollag, who tried to get him to say literally anything substantive.

generally i think part 6 is of relatively low quality but heavy weather was pure art
araki probably could have gotten away with "the rainbow turns you into a snail" but that wasn't enough so he went with "the rainbow refracts sunlight in a way that sends a subliminal message to your brain tricking it into believing you are a snail" and thats why he's a cut above

jailhouse lock, bohemian rhapsody, made in heaven and foo fighters are the other highlights of part 6. most of the rest is just dreck unfortunately.

when i ask 3yo not to say “shut up” he says “well the shut up man is coming tomorrow and going to say shut up to you”. kind of difficult to respond to that. if i ask who the shut up man is, he says “oh you don’t know???” and laughs at me. feels like bullying
