My thoughts on @insomniacgames dogshit Wolverine game: I have been playing games since the Atari. I love action combat/action adventure/action RPG/character action games. I'm in my mid 40s. I am one of the hardest of the hardcore gamers. I was literally at GGinDC in person. Name a souls-like and I have played it and likely beat it. This game is a litmus test for me. This is so obviously a generic run forward and press X for (butt) fun game and the combat is so very reminiscent of low quality movie tie-in action games circa 2010; the Green Lantern movie game era corpo-slop they shoved down our throats. Only with a shiny coat of paint (Maybe the paint started to droop on the female faces and that's why they all look so hideous?). Cookie cutter by the numbers generic button mashing trash with woke as hell feminist anti-male tropey 'deconstruct the masculine' blue anon lunatic writing. Exactly the kind of game you get baked/drunk with your buddies on a weekend and play/mock because it was on sale for 5 dollars or you saw the disk in the bargain bin at Gamestop/Walmart. But those games were never big budget (certainly not 300 million for production alone) and they didn't need to sell 5+ million to break even. The industry has become so retarded that they decided to release this the same month as Onimusha so we can have a comparison between the evolution of the genre (Onimusha is easily GOTY contender) and a devolution back to corpo shovelware slop (Wolverine) within the same genre, within the same month, and even within in the same goddamn week. There cannot be a more objective comparison between 2 games: Onimusha is a dark fantasy that holds no punches story wise. A game that contains not ONE IOTA of wokeness and has given us a new character that will be beloved an cosplayed for years (I call him my little brave fencer Musashi). A male character men can actually enjoy and that doesn't need to cry and be saved by women to be accepted by the western industry (I hate the western industry it's so pathetic). Each fight is a ballet dance and requires your patience and understanding of your moveset and the moveset of the enemy you're facing. The bosses are not just bullet sponges with 3 repeating attack combos and a special. They are soul-lite/like and require you to be present, alert, and informed on what you're doing. Wolverine is a deconstruction of a short king by women who have a 6'0 requirement listed on their dating profile. This game is a vehicle for barely coded homo-eroticism and to invert the 'man saves woman trope' like 5 fucking times. The combat is button mashing nonsense where you expect "mash button for violence" to sustain 14 hours of running down linear corridors while female characters pop in to save you from bad feminist writing. I will never respect the opinion of anyone who likes this game just as I have not - and will NEVER - respect the opinion of anyone who liked Ghostbusters 2016. You're dishonest bad faith actors or you're so brain raped your opinion is counter to objective reality. Some games/movies are just objectively poorly made trash and we used to get this when they weren't 'feminist coded'. It's pathetic what has happened to people's critical thinking skills (but that is all part of the marxist plot to make everyone retarded and reliant on big government, isn't it?). This game is the Ghostbusters 2016 of video games and if you are shilling for it you're a dishonest bad faith clout goblin and it couldn't be more pathetic.
