This year, our September 11 remembrance ceremony brought together many of the men and women who were serving on protective missions during that tragic day at locations in New York City, Washington, D.C., Florida, and across the country. We were honored to host former President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush to our New York Field Office where we remember those lives that were lost as a result of that unspeakable act of terrorism. Specifically, Master Special Officer Craig Miller, who was killed when the New York Field Office was destroyed in the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7, and Special Agent in Charge Chuck Friend and Special Agent Michael Rice, who passed away from conditions associated with exposure to Ground Zero carcinogens.

Trump spent two years threatening to take Greenland in a Putin-style land grab, and undermining relations with a NATO ally in the process.
For what? A deal that is basically the same as what we have now.

This historic deal is a huge win for the United States and the American people. Thanks to President Trump’s vision and leadership, this historic agreement permanently guarantees U.S. security interests in the Arctic at zero cost to the U.S. taxpayer.
Greenland will forever be part of the strategic defense area of North America and exclude any adversary from it and the surrounding area.
This deal permanently and completely addresses our national security concerns in Greenland.

For far too long, South Sudan’s transitional government has ignored its responsibility to reduce the costs and risks faced by those seeking to help South Sudanese people in need. Instead, officials at national, state, and local levels have obstructed humanitarian assistance and treated it as a source of revenue. This tragic disregard for human suffering must end.
The United States has, and continues to be, the largest provider of humanitarian assistance to the people of South Sudan. For far too long South Sudan’s transitional government has taken advantage of the generosity of U.S. taxpayers. South Sudan’s leaders must address the man-made main drivers of the humanitarian crisis that afflicts millions of South Sudanese people, including political violence and failure to use public revenue appropriately to provide basic services, help address humanitarian needs, and pay public sector salaries.
South Sudan’s transitional government’s unwillingness to act like a partner to those trying to help their people will continue to factor heavily into the United States’ decision making about where to devote valuable foreign assistance resources around the world. We will use all the tools available to us, including sanctions and visa restrictions, to end the impunity that has contributed to making South Sudan one of the most dangerous places in the world to deliver humanitarian assistance.

BREAKING NEWS: I am pleased to announce that the United States of America has entered into an Agreement with The Kingdom of Denmark, and Greenland, that gives the United States permanent control over security, and all other needs, in Greenland, completely addressing ALL of our many U.S. concerns. There will be NO COST to the United States! At my direction, we worked with representatives of Denmark and Greenland to guarantee that the United States will FOREVER have the complete ability to do what is necessary in Greenland in order to secure and defend the security of Greenland, and the United States of America. Additionally, from now on, no U.S. adversary can EVER have a base in Greenland, have a military presence in Greenland, or make sensitive investments in Greenland, without our express written approval.
