Dehumanising Yemenis and bombing them will result in them deindustrialising Saudi Arabia’s energy sector. They can call them drug addicts, it won’t decrease gas prices in the US, and won’t save Saudi Arabia from a hard punishment.

This. Because them using qat isn’t new but now all of a sudden I’m seeing regular pictures and a bunch of posts from blue checks talking about “wow. So much of Yemen’s water and land is spent growing this drug that all the men are hooked on”. Sure it’s a complete coincidence it’s happening right as the Houthis are causing damage and the US the weighing a strike larger than usual
