Democrats Hate All Of Us!! 🤬🤦🏻♂️🙄🤡
@CarlHigbie was spot on 💯% correct nine months ago. @TheDemocrats hate us all. They are literally okay with any of us dying if it allows them to retain their hold on power and become filthy rich. They are against:
👉🏻 Securing our borders
👉🏻 Securing our elections
👉🏻 Law, order & justice
👉🏻 Providing tax cuts for citizens
👉🏻 Protecting ACTUAL citizens
After their shit show at the State of the Union, every single Democrat should be swept out of office during next week's midterm election. But we are dealing with low IQ voters here. Voters who cannot think critically. Voters who rely on group think. Voters who vote based on emotion. So there you have it. The Democrats would sacrifice our entire country because they HATE everything about us.
You cannot loathe Democrats enough! They are literally a bunch of clowns! 🤬🤡🙄

This made me laugh this morning and that is a feat in and of itself.
Don't let people tell you Memphis is the only cesspool in Tennessee. Nashville is right behind them. Blue cities in red states have that going for them. ✌🏼

It's almost a cliche to hear that this is the most important election of our life. I've been hearing that a lot the last several years. Unfortunately, I don't think it's an exaggeration. Each time there's an election these socialists and left us look to see his power and ruin everything good about our country. We can't let that happen. Vote red Right Down the Line 🟥🗳

Some dogs follow you to the porch.
Then there's the German Shepherd, who follows you clear to the end of the road.
Bravo gets a choice at the fork. It lasts about a second.
Would you want to hear your dog's inner monologue?
I've wondered what goes through Bravo's head when he watches me eat.
I'm guessing it's a combination of disappointment, insults, and questioning why he's living with someone who refuses to share his dinner.
After watching this German Shepherd, I'm starting to think some thoughts are better left unspoken.

On August 8, 1969, Steve McQueen was supposed to spend the evening at Sharon Tate's house in Los Angeles.
He never showed up.
That decision may have saved his life.
McQueen was one of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood, fresh off the success of Bullitt and The Thomas Crown Affair. He was also close friends with Jay Sebring, the celebrity hairstylist who had once been engaged to Sharon Tate.
The day before, Sebring had visited McQueen for a haircut. Afterward, the two went out for Mexican food, and Sebring invited him to a gathering at Sharon's home on Cielo Drive the following evening.
McQueen agreed to come.
Sharon was 26 years old and eight months pregnant. Her husband, director Roman Polanski, was away in London, and several friends were keeping her company.
On Friday evening, McQueen's plans took an unexpected turn.
According to his wife at the time, Neile Adams, the two had argued, and she decided to stay home. McQueen left on his motorcycle but ran into another woman he knew.
Instead of going to Sharon's house, he spent the evening with her.
Meanwhile, Sharon Tate, Jay Sebring, Abigail Folger, and Wojciech Frykowski returned to the house on Cielo Drive after having dinner together.
Sometime after midnight, members of Charles Manson's cult entered the property.
By morning, all four were dead, along with 18-year-old Steven Parent, who had been visiting the property's caretaker.
McQueen was still asleep when the terrible news began spreading through Hollywood.
His assistant eventually woke him.
At first, there was confusion over who had been killed. One victim had been so badly beaten that people initially feared it might have been McQueen himself.
He soon learned that his close friend Jay Sebring was among the dead.
McQueen later delivered the eulogy at Sebring's funeral.
The murders left him shaken. According to Adams, he became increasingly paranoid afterward and began insisting on carrying a gun for protection.
Years later, she recalled how close her husband had come to being at that house.
McQueen would live with the knowledge that he had been invited to the same house where five people lost their lives that night, including one of his closest friends.
All because his plans changed at the last minute.
Sometimes the difference between life and death comes down to being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Or, in Steve McQueen's case, never showing up at all.

Anybody remember this:
2016 posted memes that looked like Clinton campaign ads telling people “vote from home” by texting “Hillary” to a number (59925) or using certain hashtags.
Convicted in Brooklyn federal court in 2023, and sentenced to 7 months in prison plus a fine.
NYT explains the Democrats' "audacious, secretive plan" to put another Dan Sullivan on the ballot in Alaska.
A 90 second summation of exactly what happened:
"Democrats, including Mary Peltola's campaign, have said they have no connection to this Dan Sullivan."
"That's simply not true."
"In fact, Democrats with the Mary Peltola campaign and with the national party engaged in an audacious, secretive plan dating back to last year designed to help Mary Peltola win by stacking the ballot in her favor."
"They came up with a plan to recruit other candidates onto the Senate ballot, and the goal was to divide Republican voters and hope that some of them would vote for these alternative candidates on the ballot."
"As part of that effort, a Peltola staff member was instructed to create a list of the Dan Sullivans in Alaska."
So, they all lied, and continue to lie.
Not sure if that's the bigger story here, or the fact that NYT decided to conduct a random act of journalism.

Georgia just broke its early voting record, and there are still two days to go.
As of Wednesday, more than 2.04 million Georgians had voted early in person, already 22% more than the entire early voting period in 2022, per the Secretary of State's office. Add about 100,000 absentee ballots and the state is near 2.1 million. Early voting ends Friday, Oct. 30.
Remember when we were told Georgia's 2021 election law would keep people from voting? Record turnout says otherwise. Polls show Jon Ossoff ahead of Mike Collins in the Senate race, but the governor's race between Rick Jackson and Keisha Lance Bottoms is a coin flip.
Georgia, if you haven't voted yet, Friday is your day. Will you make it count?

Sugar cream pie has been my favourite since I was a little girl 🥧 My grandma used to make the very best one ever 🥹💙
Here's her recipe if you want to try it… smooth, creamy and kissed with maple ☺️ Save it for later and tell me if you make it 👇😋
Graham Cracker Crust (one 9-inch / 23 cm pie)
• 1½ cups (about 150–160 g) graham cracker crumbs (roughly 10–12 sheets)
• ¼ cup (50 g) granulated or light brown sugar
• Pinch of salt
• 6 tablespoons (85 g) unsalted butter, melted
Sugar cream filling
• 1¾ cups (350 g) packed light or dark brown sugar
• ⅓ cup (80 ml) pure maple syrup
• 1¼ cups (300 ml) heavy cream (35% MF)
• 3 tablespoons (42 g) unsalted butter
• 2 tablespoons (15–16 g) all-purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon (8 g) cornstarch
• 2 large eggs, at room temperature
• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• Pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Make the crust
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175–180°C).
Mix the crumbs, sugar, and salt, then stir in the melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
Press it firmly and evenly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate (use the bottom of a measuring cup or glass for a compact crust).
Bake 8–10 minutes until lightly golden and fragrant. Let cool while you make the filling.
2. Start the filling 🤤
In a medium heavy bottomed saucepan, combine the brown sugar, maple syrup, cream, and butter.
Warm over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth and steaming (do not let it boil hard)!
**Remove from the heat.**
3. Temper and thicken
In a bowl, whisk the eggs, flour, cornstarch, vanilla, and salt until smooth. Slowly pour about ½ cup of the warm sugar-cream mixture into the eggs while whisking vigorously (this prevents curdling).
Pour the tempered egg mixture back into the saucepan.
Return to medium-low heat and cook, stirring constantly, for 3–5 minutes until the filling thickens slightly (it should coat the back of a spoon and feel like a thin pudding).
**Do not let it boil.**
4. Assemble and bake.
Pour the filling into the pre-baked crust (place the pie plate on a baking sheet to catch any drips).
Bake at 350°F (175–180°C) for 30–40 minutes, until the edges are set and the centre still has a gentle jiggle. 👀
The top will caramelize and turn golden.
5. Cool and set.
Cool completely on a rack (at least 2 hours)
then refrigerate for at least 3–4 hours or preferably overnight.
The filling firms up into a creamy, sliceable texture.
It’s best to wipe the knife between slices for clean cuts.😋
Serve cold or at cool room temperature, plain or with unsweetened whipped cream (the pie is already very sweet). Some like it with ice cream.
** Dark brown sugar gives deeper molasses notes; light brown is milder.
The brief stovetop cook plus the eggs/flour/cornstarch combination produces the soft, fudgy-creamy set.
It is most Excellent the next day.
Keeps 4–5 days refrigerated.
It freezes reasonably well (slice first).
😋 Variations: Add a handful of toasted pecans or walnuts to the filling if you like.
For an even richer maple hit, increase the syrup slightly and reduce the brown sugar by the same volume.
If you ever want the traditional pastry crust instead, most classic recipes use a single unbaked flaky crust and bake the filling in it from the start. 💙
