I’ve done group projects before, I’ll pass.
What if instead of Capitalism we just shared resources and took care of each other.

If you had told me when I was in high school in the 1990s that someday the lead singer of Jars of Clay would say “I’m no longer sure who God is” and the lead singer of Smashing Pumpkins would say “Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior” I would have spit out my Slim Fast and stained my flannel shirt

As a former NYPD lieutenant, I’ll give you the inside scoop on these protests: Cops hate them. No one wants to work these details. You actively try to avoid the desk in order to not be notified of these. You get to the detail and usually the “Free Palestine” crowd is on one side of the street and the pro-Israel side is on the other. You then spend the next couple hours trying to stop the “Free Palestine” crowd from physically attacking the pro-Israel crowd. After that, the “Free Palestine” crowd will march and shut down traffic. Along the way, they’ll disrupt sidewalk cafes, random passersby, and anyone who they think might be Jewish. Then they’ll find a place to stop, where they’ll harass cops, take their names and shield numbers, and threaten to doxx them. They’ll even pick fights with cops and do things so the cops will be forced to move in and arrest them. That’s where they’ll film their infamous YouTube videos highlighting “police brutality.” Mind you, the cops have been actively trying to protect them the entire time, but propaganda is needed. After a 15 hour day, the cops are finally cut loose, waiting for the impending CCRB accusations. … and everyone wonders why recruitment and retainment are down.
This gender-confused guy doesn’t know where Palestine is. Doesn’t know they’d execute they for being gay. The boss just told them to chant “Free Palestine.” That’s how wrecked the woke left is. Save New York from Islamist leftists. MAKE NYC GREAT AGAIN!

One problem Trump faces with the younger generations is they have no context for the stuff he’s doing. - They don’t know that Venezuela was once the world’s sixth richest country before Communism devoured it. - They are all but ignorant of the Castro regime’s abuses and the plight of Cubans. - They are blissfully unaware that Iran started a war with us decades ago and have been slaughtering Americans whenever possible ever since. - And most importantly, when it comes to Israel, they have no idea that Arafat refused a deal that granted the PLO more than 90% of what it wanted at Camp David, or that Palestinians regularly launch rockets from civilian strongholds specifically so Israel will target those areas in return and Hamas can then scream “Genocide!” It’s not Gen Z’s fault they don’t know it. We failed them by refusing to teach it. Or, more specifically, by allowing our educational system to be hijacked long ago by Marxists who aimed to accomplish exactly what is happening now. We let it happen, and now we are paying for it handily. But we’d better address it ASAP. Or we will all learn about the horrors of Cuba and Venezuela firsthand.

This is one of my favorite bits, where they just straight up tell you they want to pay unlivable wages to brown people to pick their crops or clean their toilets but somehow you’re the racist for wanting to stop it
Hey maga some of those great jobs that immigrants stole from you are available. Don’t miss out.

It's amazing how much leftist discourse is just them pretending not to understand things, thus making discourse impossible.

We had colorbooks about anti-racism we had to journal in. I was 48 at the time. I think I have photos of them, I’ll try to find them. We’ve also had to do guided meditation, which left me sitting at a table staring at all of my coworkers with their eyes closed, doing deep breathing. It was weird, definitely set me apart.

So I got signed up at work for an “Anti-Racism Club” that meets once a month at lunch on Zoom. I wasn’t required to say yes, but did feel it was expected. This is the best decision I have ever made 🤣😆😄😂🤪 It’s pure comedic GOLD! They’ve begun with land acknowledgment. And pronouns! My “pronouns” are was/were if I’m asked. So many people are saying they’re on Susquehannock land and I’m over here laughing because the Iroquois Confederation genocided the Susquehannock to a few hundred people prior to European contact, but white folks are all apologizing for it. This is going to be SO MUCH FUN! 🤩

Charlemagne should be attending to more important matters like properly structuring his empire so it won’t collapse into civil war when his son Louis the Pious dies Plus, Frankly, dude doesn’t even know how to read, maybe focus on fixing that. Lot of misplaced priorities here.

The richest man in the world took a break from building rockets and cars and satellites and came to DC to help the GOP cut insane spending. Handed them talent, a blueprint, everything. Not only did Congress refuse to cut the spending, they basically ran him out of town.

I notice that the Reacher streaming series never has Muslim villains. So I searched and found that the novel the new season is based on had jihadist villains, but they changed it to Asian females. Not even in fiction will the gutless turds take on Islam and jihad in any way.

Fairfax County's new 9/11 teaching guide devotes roughly half its content to creating "safe spaces for Muslim and Middle Eastern students." while mentioning military families just three times and first responders once. The six-page document, obtained by Fox News Digital's @AsraNomani, contains 30 references to Islam, "anti-Muslim racism," and "Islamophobic rhetoric." It explicitly tells teachers not to "associate the 9/11 attacks with Islam or Muslims" and not to "center the extremists or the acts of the extremists." Only about 15% of the guide actually spells out specific 9/11 instruction. Retired Vice Admiral Lou Crenshaw, who was inside the Pentagon when al-Qaeda terrorists flew a plane into the building, ripped the guide for failing to convey "the evilness of what actually happened," calling it a sanitized, "vanilla" approach that shaves the facts until students can't figure out what they're learning about.

The brand-new U.S. didn't have the budget of the UK at the time, but the U.S. abolished the transatlantic slave trade in 1808, then patrolled the west African coast until the Civil War, particularly between 1842 and 1861 (when the Civil War started), seizing slave ships and setting the slaves free. The British Navy made those patrols between 1808 and 1867. In the midst of all of this were the Barbary wars in the Mediterranean and North Africa against (Islamic) slave traders. The first Barbary War was 1801-1805, then there was the 1815 Barbary War (and the War of 1812 against the UK in between, when the U.S. declared war on the UK for seizing American ships and impressing American sailors into naval service on British vessels, driven by both the Napoleonic Wars and by the losses in those patrols of the West African coast).

🇬🇧 THEY TOLD YOU A STORY. 🇬🇧 Colonisers. Slavers. Oppressors. And you were supposed to feel ashamed. Not for what you done... But for WHO YOU ARE. 🇬🇧 So we tested it. Britain wrote everything down, so we opened the books. 📖 Turns out fewer than 1 man in 10 could vote in the year Britain banned the slave trade. No woman could. Your ancestors could hang for stealing a sheep, get shipped across the world for petty theft, or go down a mine at 8 years old. In Manchester, the average age of death in a labouring family was 17. They weren't running the slave trade. They were underneath it too. Which is what makes what happened next worth knowing. In 1772 an enslaved man named James Somerset walked free from an English court, because English law couldn't hold a slave. In 1791, 300,000 families just stopped buying slave sugar. No march, no riot, just a decision made at 300,000 kitchen tables. In 1792, 519 petitions carrying 390,000 names hit Parliament, most signed by people who couldn't vote themselves. In 1807, Britain banned the trade. Then the slave owners sent Britain a bill for the 800,000 people they still held. 💷 £20 million. About 40% of the entire government budget at the time. The Treasury says it wasn't paid off until 2015. So if your family paid British tax before then, they helped buy 800,000 people their freedom. From 1808 the Royal Navy spent 60 years hunting slave ships at sea: 1,600 stopped, 150,000 people freed, and 1,600 British sailors dead, mostly of disease, buried thousands of miles from home. ⚓ In 1816 they ended two centuries of Barbary corsairs enslaving Europeans. In 1896 a war that lasted 38 minutes ended slavery in Zanzibar. 🇹🇿 Almost every country on Earth outlaws slavery today. That fight was paid for largely at British expense, by British hands.🇬🇧 So why haven't you heard any of this? Because within living memory, someone rewrote the story. You got taught the crime. Not the cure. The powerful exploited the world. They exploited their own people first. It was those people who ended slavery. 🇬🇧 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ History got rewritten once, in living memory, by no one who was ever named or held to account. We are ordinary people doing what ordinary people have always done. Opening the books. Refusing to look away. This is how we fight back. Fact by fact. Story by story. Name by name. We are the home of British heroes. There is a place for you in it. If you can afford to support what we do: proudofus.co.uk/support Be part of us. ☝️🇬🇧 Be Proud Of Us. 🙏🇬🇧

I didn't even get a letter. Court messed up paperwork, thought I'd been summoned when I hadn't, and it cost a couple hundred dollars to a lawyer to straighten it all out. I'm team "our courts are a disgrace and shouldn't act this way" but it is, in fact, the way they act.
