For performance reasons, in game we have zero dynamic lighting calculation. So no PBR materials but only custom UNLIT shaders, and the fact you have the car having the same light even in shadow parts, breaks the immersion. We finally added a feature that "read" light variations in the lightmaps. It's very cheap and effective! :)

I have some unfortunate news to share. Vista del Mare is going to be delayed.
As much as I’d love to spend all my time working on UNSEEN, the reality of being a solo developer is that bills still need to be paid.
I’ve had to take on freelance work to support myself and, more importantly, to keep this project alive.
This means I currently only have weekends to work on Episode 2, and progress is much slower than I originally hoped.
At this point, I can’t give you a new release date, and I don’t want to make promises I might not be able to keep.
But one thing hasn’t changed: I don’t want to compromise on quality just to meet a deadline. I’ve put too much time, effort, and passion into this project to rush it now.
Vista del Mare is still happening. It’s just going to take a little longer.
Thank you to everyone who has played UNSEEN, shared feedback, or supported the project in any way. It genuinely means a lot, especially when you’re building something like this on your own.

I just tried Assassin's Creed, Asgards 2 and Batman and aside from some loading stutters, being able to play them at much higher res, locked FPS with no Fixed Foveated Rendering is crazy. AC Nexus specifically looks amazing without the reprojection now.
