🚨PART 1: Life under communism/socialism rule.
Growing up during the communist era in Poland.
I saw the Polish People's Republic being shaped and changed daily to a different more limited life. It affected social behavior, and the psychology of millions of Polish people.
Poland and across the Eastern Bloc was a daily grind of scarcity, surveillance, and lost agency that turned ordinary existence into a series of humiliating calculations. Central planning eliminated price signals, so factories and farms could only produced what communistic bureaucrats ordered rather than what people needed. The result was a permanent shortage of food, other daily essentials, labor and extremely bad economy.
Stores were routinely stripped bare. Iconic memories from the 1970s–80s include entire shops stocked with nothing but vinegar and tea. I know that many of you today can even imagine how it felt being in that situation.
Basic goods—meat, butter, flour, sugar, toilet paper, soap, shoes, even matches—were either absent or available only sporadically via “rzuty” (sudden deliveries that triggered stampedes). By the early 1980s, ration cards (kartki) covered meat, butter, flour, rice, chocolate, alcohol, cigarettes, and petrol. An average adult might be allotted roughly 2.5–4 kg of meat and meat products per month (miners got more, office workers less), but even that was theoretical: high-quality cuts were severely limited (often only ~400 g), lower-grade meat, offal, and processed items made up the rest, and shops frequently ran out anyway. People spent hours or days in queues; some estimates put average daily queue time at around three hours. Informal “queue committees” kept lists, and retirees or children could be hired as stand-ins.
Money itself became nearly useless when there was nothing to buy.
Housing was another long wait—often years or a decade-plus for a small apartment in a prefabricated block, frequently shared with many family members or completely overcrowded.
Getting a private landline 📞 phone could take up to ~
20 years.
Cars, appliances, and decent clothing required connections (“dojścia”), bribes, or the black market.
Special hard-currency stores like Pewex existed for the elite and those who may have dollars; everyone else made with poor-quality substitutes.
Freedom was tightly constrained and limited to almost none. Travel aboard required rare passports and exit permissions.
Travel from city to city required special permission from authorities.
Media, books, and education were censored. The secret police (SB) and a network of informers created a climate of caution—neighbors reported neighbors.
By the end of 1978 my father was killed by them. He was only 38 years old. He didn’t wanted to become a communist so he was killed on the sidewalk walking home. I was 9. Three years later in the middle of the night my mother left me and my younger brother behind in this big city. She escaped to America.
Every day I continue to live by myself and making sure that my brother and I are safe. We went to school every day and pretend that our mom is at home. I learn how to cook from whatever I could get at the vegetable market, because stores were always empty by the time I got home from school.
One day in the morning I woke up to the news that Poland was under martial law (December 1981–1983), and everything intensified: curfews (often 10 p.m.–6 a.m.) no one was allowed outside their apartments or house, sealed borders and no travel outside the country. Internment of thousands of Freedom Solidarity activists, militarized workplaces, restricted intercity travel, and suspended civil liberties.
Official propaganda still claimed record harvests and full employment while shelves stayed empty and people pretended to work at idle factories. State television and newspapers offered heavily filtered propaganda. Phones were frequently tapped, public gatherings were restricted, and….
⭕️ BREAKING UPDATE: This is exactly what happens when county commissioners prioritize political correctness and federal RLUIPA constraints over the clear will of local taxpayers. FL Residents lined up to oppose the Masjid Al Rahman expansion, pointing out the deliberate “community assembly facility” label that hid the true nature of the project, yet it still passed 4-3. Then a woman in a full burqa walked up and blasted the call to prayer for a full minute to rub it in their faces—refusing to stop until a deputy removed her. No charges. This isn’t isolated; it’s a pattern of incremental pressure against communities that reject parallel societies, uncivilized values which are incompatible with the U.S. Constitution.
🔴 Governor DeSantis, ( @GovRonDeSantis ) where are you?
Florida voters need leadership that backs local resistance to these expansions before they become irreversible.
Fight for America 🇺🇸
Islam is NOT comparable with our Constitutional Republic.
Stop allowing them to build mosques. Stop sharia. Ban burqas. What are you waiting for Republican Representatives???
Who’s taking a bribes from the enemy of our country?
BE LIKE POLAND!
Many stood up to speak against the mosque. Many pointed out that they labeled it a 'recreation center' to avoid push back. The county commissioners still voted it in. Why? Cause in Florida, many/most county commissioners are bought off long before there is any public discussion. It is baked before anyone knows. This Muslim 'woman' knew it and came to rub it in the faces of all the Pinellas County tax payers who didn't want the mosque.

🚨 OUTRAGEOUS: A woman in a full burqa walked up to the public-comment mic at a Pinellas County Board meeting and blasted the islamic call to prayer for over a MINUTE — refusing to stop. Chairman Dave Eggers ordered her to “stop the tape.” She wouldn’t. A sheriff’s deputy had to escort her out.
This wasn’t a comment. It was a deliberate disruption during debate over a mosque expansion. No charges filed. WHY?
Is this the new normal in Florida?
“IF CHRISTIANS CANNOT BUILD CHURCHES IN SAUDI ARABIA, WHY SHOULD MOSQUES BE BUILT IN EUROPE or AMERICA?”
American people fight against islam attacks on our land. DEMAND full BAN on: burqas, mosques, sharia and BAN radical islamists from our communities, our children schools and our Constitutional Republic government offices! ENOUGH!!!

CNBC’s Rick Santelli could barely believe the numbers: the U.S. trade deficit plunged to $29.4B in October 2025 — the lowest since 2009.
Exports jumped while imports fell sharply. That’s a real shift in the right direction after decades of growing gaps. Progress doesn’t always come in a straight line, but this was a clear win for stronger American trade flows.
🚨 HOLY SMOKES!!! TRUMP’S TRADE SHOCKWAVE: U.S. Trade Deficit COLLAPSES by $100 Billion – CNBC STUNNED as Trump Destroys 20 Years of Globalist Lies | “Buckle Up, THIS IS UNREAL!”
🔥 President Donald J. Trump just crushed the U.S. trade deficit, slashing it from $136 billion to just $29.4 billion — the lowest in nearly 20 years. CNBC anchors are in shock, forced to admit Trump and Scott Bessent were right all along. Reagan-level economics. America First triumphs again.

This Day in United States History 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
On October 29, 1970, major U.S. newspaper headlines included: U.S. Expects Soviet to Take the Initiative When Arms Talks Resume in Helsinki - with the New York Times reporting: WASHINGTON, Oct. 28— The United States looks to the Soviet Union to take the major initiative at what is expected to be a fairly brief round of the talks on limiting strategic arms starting Monday at Helsinki. Finland.
The negotiations, after several weeks of tension between Moscow and Washington over the Middle East, Cuba and Berlin, assume importance not only as a test of whether the Soviet leadership wants an arms‐control agreement but also as an indicator of the general state of Soviet‐American relations.
One major indicator of the Soviet attitudes, American officials say, will be whether Moscow insists on including 50 American attack planes, based in Europe and with the Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean, under any over‐all accord to limit strategic arms systems.
How it played out
U.S. officials expected a relatively brief round and looked to Moscow for the main initiative—specifically a firm, detailed counter-response to the American proposals from Vienna (including on offensive force limits). One key test they highlighted was whether the Soviets would press hard to include U.S. forward-based aircraft (e.g., in Europe and the Mediterranean) in any overall limits.
No agreement was reached in Helsinki in 1970. The talks remained deadlocked into 1971 over the linkage of offensive and defensive limits and issues like forward-based systems. A breakthrough came via higher-level (including back-channel) diplomacy: the May 20, 1971 joint U.S.-Soviet announcement that they would concentrate on an ABM treaty while negotiating certain offensive limitations in parallel. This framework enabled the SALT I accords signed in Moscow in May 1972 (the ABM Treaty limiting defenses to two sites each, later reduced, and the Interim Agreement freezing certain offensive launcher numbers with asymmetries favoring the Soviets in some categories).

James Taylor was still having commercial success with his second album, Sweet Baby James. His most successful song on the album was Fire and Rain, which would reach No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. 56 years ago today, Fire and Rain was still a top-10 song in the United States.
Enjoy part of one of my mid-September twilight rides on the Adams Loop. At this time, Middle Tennessee was still being impacted by the heat dome, so evening rides were quite refreshing. But the temp wasn't the only thing hot - so was Fire and Rain! Volume UP!!! 🇺🇸😎👊
Fire and Rain - James Taylor 🎶🎶🎶
Just yesterday mornin', they let me know you were gone
Suzanne, the plans they made put an end to you
I walked out this morning and I wrote down this song
I just can't remember who to send it to
I've seen fire and I've seen rain
I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end
I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend
But I always thought that I'd see you again
Won't you look down upon me, Jesus?
You've got to help me make a stand
You've just got to see me through another day
My body's aching and my time is at hand
And I won't make it any other way
Oh, I've seen fire and I've seen rain
I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end
I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend
But I always thought that I'd see you again
Been walking my mind to an easy time
My back turned towards the sun
Lord knows, when the cold wind blows
It'll turn your head around
Well, there's hours of time on the telephone line
To talk about things to come
Sweet dreams and flying machines in pieces on the ground
Oh, I've seen fire and I've seen rain
I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end
I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend
But I always thought that I'd see you, baby
One more time again, now
Thought I'd see you one more time again
There's just a few things coming my way this time around, now
Thought I'd see you, thought I'd see you, fire and rain, now 🎶🎶🎶
🇺🇸 The law is finally being enforced as written.
Illegal immigrants who entered the U.S. without permission have no constitutional right to a bond hearing. Mandatory detention is now fully upheld as constitutional.
No more automatic releases while cases drag on for years and American taxpayers have been paying for them.
This is one of the biggest immigration enforcement wins in years.
Do you agree with the 5th Circuit’s decision?
Drop a 👍 or 👎 and tell me why.

🚨 BREAKING: Fifth Circuit just ruled 10–7 that illegal immigrants who entered the U.S. illegally have NO constitutional right to bond hearings. 🇺🇸
Mandatory detention is constitutional.
No more catch-and-release loopholes.
This is a major win for enforcing our laws. 🔥

🚨Mr. President Trump: I wish to turn your attention on the 2020-2024 election fraud in Maricopa County. Evidence is available @EverythingHomeT
Michele Swinick has vast amounts of evidence of election crimes from Maricopa County’s very own election records and returns. EVIDENCE and FACTS. Not opinions.
This stuff hasn’t seen the light of day in the mainstream as much as I would like to see.
Michele Swinick almost single-handedly and without compensation did the work.
Kari Lake and Abraham Hamadeh and all their expensive lawyers didn’t.
It even has chain of custody, which the elections in Maricopa County do NOT.
Did you hear about the massive deed fraud here, too and that many officials seem to be involved? I have been sharing this information with the public for over 3 years now but no one has contacted Michele Swinick yet.
Please CONTACT her if you truly care about the TRUTH and I know you do, Mr. President.

⭐️ From the quiet kitchens of my Polish childhood to the open tables of America…
Łazanki — simple cabbage and noodles — was the humble dish that filled our bellies on cold Fridays and during Lent. We made it with flour, eggs, a head of cabbage, and quiet love. It was never fancy. It was home.
I came to this country the right way: legally, with paperwork, patience, and a heart full of hope. America gave me freedom, opportunity, and a place to build a life. In return, I bring what I was given — recipes, stories, the old songs, the old ways and patriotic ways of life — and I share them with my American friends and with all of you, here on X.
This is how it should be.
Every immigrant who is blessed to call America home should love her, respect her, and protect her. We are not here to erase what we found. We are here to add our colors to a tapestry that was already beautiful. Our food, our faith, our family traditions — offered with gratitude, never with demand. Enrichment, not disruption. Gratitude, not grievance.
I still cook the dishes of my motherland. But now I cook them in the land I chose, and I cook them with American friends at the table. That is the dream that still works when we honor it.
God Bless America 🇺🇸
(And if you try the Łazanki… make it with love.) ❤️
