A town keeps raising taxes, so a resident shows up to speak, wearing an English lord’s wig. Instead of protesting, he sarcastically supports the increases and says, “If you can’t pay your taxes… don’t be poor.”
Why? Because the people raising the taxes don’t live like the people paying them. The town administrator, Todd Selig, has never been elected, has held his appointed job for 17 years, and makes over $300,000 a year with THREE months of paid vacation.
And if you watch these meetings, you know the pattern. Regular people come up looking for answers, maybe a little dialogue. The administrators DO sit there like an aristocratic court, silent, unmoved, barely looking up. No response. No engagement. Just a posture that says, your problems aren’t my problems… so why are you here?
The wig wasn’t the problem. The disconnect was.
Most of us who were paying attention to the horrid things the Obama administration was doing to "get Trump" want to know if "Five Eyes" was in on trying to take President Trump down.
Wish .@DataRepublican and/or .@MikeBenzCyber would look into this. I'd like to know one way or the other, wouldn't you?

Many stood up to speak against the mosque. Many pointed out that they labeled it a 'recreation center' to avoid push back. The county commissioners still voted it in. Why? Cause in Florida, many/most county commissioners are bought off long before there is any public discussion. It is baked before anyone knows. This Muslim 'woman' knew it and came to rub it in the faces of all the Pinellas County tax payers who didn't want the mosque.

An architect of Obamacare, Professor Jonathan Gruber said that a “lack of transparency” and the “stupidity of the American voter” helped Congress approve Obamacare.
He said that many lawmakers and voters didn’t know what was in the law or how its financing worked, and that this helped it win approval.
Further, Gruber said, “Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage, and basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really, really critical for the thing to pass.”
Gruber made the comment while discussing how the law was “written in a tortured way” to avoid a bad score from the Congressional Budget Office. He suggested that voters would have rejected ObamaCare if the penalties for going without health insurance were interpreted as taxes, either by budget analysts or the public.
