The guy sitting next to me at the bar has his phone font cranked up to 50. After texting a rant about "woke media" not giving the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders enough screen time, he immediately switched to scrolling through blatantly AI-generated thirst traps on Facebook.

My hot take is all the annoying whining and bickering between coastal & dc national Dem leaders and their orgs and podcasters and streamers all going back and forth on social creates the permission structure for this kind of shit.

Chandler supervisor @MarkStewart_AZ hanging out with disgraced election denier Steve Chucri who resigned after undermining his colleagues, something Stewart is good at!
Today was a powerful reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of the men and women who serve our nation. It was an honor to hear from Colonel (Ret.) Mark Tillman, who served as the pilot and commander of Air Force One from 2001 to 2009. Colonel Tillman shared with us incredible stories from his time serving our country, including his responsibility for protecting President George W. Bush on 9/11/01. Hearing these stories of service left me with a sense of pride in our military and our great nation. We are blessed to live in a country defended by men and women willing to make extraordinary sacrifices to protect our freedoms. A special thank you to Steve Chucri and the Arizona Restaurant Association for the invite! 🇺🇸

I share the same concerns expressed by @ACLUaz and @FOX10Phoenix
Recorder @azjustinheap contradicts himself yet again. In an interview with a local station, he said pollworkers were not instructing voters they must present ID to vote. (This is against the law, voters still have the option to drop ballots for themselves and family members in a bin). Turns out a reporter at the station had this happen to them.

Brutal interview clip for Justin Heap as he gets fact checked in real time by @FOX10Phoenix, they tell him a colleague personally experienced what others are saying. The issue is that Heap’s workers shouldnt proactively approach voters 1) Signage provides info 2)Voters can ask Qs
WATCH: Recorder Justin Heap responds on FOX 10 Talks to allegations made by @ACLUaz on voter ID rules and early ballots. Turns out a member of our @FOX10Phoenix team was also asked to show ID after telling a poll worker she wished to drop off her mail-in ballot.

By the way, @MarkStewart_AZ pushes peptides. He does so without a medical degree, a nursing degree, or even a veterinarian degree. Nice side hustle there, Mark!

JUST IN: @ACLUaz sends a letter to @azjustinheap and the @maricopacounty board of supervisors and @Rachel1Mitchell that they observed employees of Heap's office of telling voters they must present ID when dropping off their early ballots. This is against the law in Arizona. In fact. It is against the law for poll workers to tell voters how to vote for equal protection purposes. Since it's impossible for them to talk to everyone, they are not supposed to talk to anyone. Early voters now have the OPTION of ID verification at the polling place, but are still legally allowed to drop their ballots in bins to go through the signature verification process. Heap responded in a press release calling the claims baseless. However. On October 15th he posted to X "early voting staff are informing voters of their options..."

Look, I get it. If you believe the voter rolls are dirty you would expect to see higher signature rejection rates. The problem is, that's simply a lie. Arizona is a documented proof of citizenship state. 9 and 10 of our voters register using their driver's license at the MVD. A recent investigation by the Republican County attorney found zero non-citizens in a submitted inquiry. Despite what the grifters say, our active voter rolls are very clean. So higher signature rejection rates have a higher chance of meaing a legal voter's ballot is rejected.

A recent analysis from @Rachel1Mitchell found the number of submitted non-citizens was actually 0. 90% of individuals register using ServiceArizona. Our rejection rate should be close to zero.

If you're scouring early vote returns in Arizona to determine who will win, don't. Eight reasons the first 1.1M ballots don’t tell us much about the outcome: 1) Since 2016, Democratic candidates at the top of the ticket have outperformed the registration margin on ballots cast.

I confirmed on a telephone call with @azjustinheap communications director that they removed more than personal identifying information from the signature verifier process. They are focusing on party, which, to be sure, is not useful. But they also removed the voter's address. This is public information that could be used to match the affidavit envelope to the voter registration form or other affidavit exemplars.

So I found the receipts. During a gaggle on September third, @azjustinheap acknowledged the rise in signature rejection rates from his new process. Here is his unedited response to our political reporter Manuelita Beck.
Let me be very clear, Garrett Archer is trafficking in election misinformation. The only “identifiers” that have been removed from the view of verifiers during the Signature Verification process is the voter’s personally indentifiable information, including party affiliation. Put simply, the verifiers should not know anything about a voter other than whether the current signature matches the other historic signatures for the individual. This protects all voters and has no bearing on rejection rates.
