You could write master’s thesis (psychology) about this video
Kathy Bates says she was sure she never thanked her mother in her Misery Oscar speech, then the interviewer showed her the tape
"She gave up her retirement because I was born so late in life to them."
"When I won the Oscar for Misery, she said, I don't know what all the excitement about, you didn't discover the cure for cancer."
"Why did I think I didn't thank her?"
"Because she should have had my life."
"I wanted her spirit to come into me and enjoy everything I was enjoying because of what she'd given up."
Her mom's whole review of the Oscar was that she didn't cure cancer, and Kathy still believed she had shorted her that night. Then she watches herself thank her mom at home, right there in the speech. Some people never stop trying to pay their parents back. You can hear it in how quiet she gets at the end.

I realize it may not be common knowledge that in 2008 before Glee, Lea Michele debuted her Anthony Bordain inspired travel show where she traveled from Manhattan to Queens as a “borough travel junkie” for exactly one (1) episode that has been mostly scrubbed from the internet

“Y’all gotta be very aware what’s going on in the world, right? People will tell you that nobody was in here tonight, but you got eyes, you can see. People will tell you that the music wasn’t great, but you got ears. [...] Question everything in this world of AI.”
Ha! I’m so grateful for taste and discernment at an early age. The only female rapper I stan is the one and only Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliot.

I was in Sam’s Club today and saw these Disney blanket throws packaged like the throwback VHS tapes and Harry Potter themed Care Bears. They just be doing stuff.

I’m really surprised that Marvel hasn’t done a project from the POV of everyday citizens in the MCU reacting to the nonsensical activities of superhero happenings.
Why is ASTEROID CITY airing on Bravo right now? Is there some overlap with Wes Anderson and Andy Cohen audiences that I’m missing?
